Hi Bree, I am from Canada and we have to connect to Toronto to get there (this is an extra $500), as well some of my guests are flying out of Vancouver. I'm not sure of the exact price at the momet as I cannot find the email. But I am pretty sure the prices for 7 nights all inclusive were about $2300, and thats for a May 2012 wedding. As other brides had said, you never really know till your TA quotes you a price and I think mine said February was still traveling season therefore should be cheaper than the prices I had.

I went in for my second dress fitting last weekend and alterations told me that they would have to let out my hips half an inch! this was definatly motivation, kicked my butt into high gear and I have smartened up. Theres nothing like paying in cash for putting on weight that makes you change your lazy unmotivated ways. lol hope this helps and hope you don't have to pay extra to let out your dress

Oh has anyone heard from Gina at all. Its been over 2 weeks since I last heard from her and it is aggravating me! We're getting married in just over a month and still need so many questions answered!

Hey Kthorpe, Congrats! 1. I was told by Gina, my WC that you can only trade the same category for each other. So reception food fo cocktail apps seems like the same category for me. Now the question would be how much it adds up to exactly. I would ask your WC this question. 2. I'm getting married May 10, 2012 and we are having a 4pm wedding. A 5pm wedding is actually a more perfect time for me I think. Because the sun sets at about 7pm. So just when you are starting your reception it should be getting dark. 3. As for colours it is really up to you in what you like. All brides on here have different styles and tastes. Happy Wedding Planning

Yes I noticed that you also are from Manitoba. Our wedding including wedding package cost, flights, accomodations, and wedding attire is looking closer to $20,000. I feel a bit bad though that because of the location and time of the wedding that it is costing our guests approx. $2,700 for a week.

Not many brides seem to be doing a long table set up. It's nice to see that you chose that option too.

Ya I was told up to 8 months. I think they say that just incase it does take that entire 8 months to come. Mine however came in at the 6 month mark. From what the sales lady told me, once the order goes out thats when they start to make the dress. So no wonder it takes so long.

My FI and I decided to mix and match with the best choices possible. These are what we decided on.. Mushrooms filled with shrimp tartar Voul-a-vent filled with mushrooms duxelle Empanadas (Cheese, Potato and Mexican Sausage) Tempura Shrimp Satay Quiche Lorraine (Bacon, Cheese and Onion)

That's a great idea. I can stress a little less now. Gina takes forever lately to reply to me so even when I do send her an email about this it will take about a week or more to get back to me.

I like the middle ones, those are nice with just the right amount of embellishment. As for me I had a specifc vision in mind and did not rest until I found something that matched. It was easier to find my earings that matched my vision first rather than shoes. The shoes I'm still not completely satisfied on though These are my shoes And these are more of what I would love to have I guess I could add some sparkle myself and a flower. It was recently brought to my attention from my future mother in law. That we arrive in Mexico on Monday and we are getting married on Thursday. It says on the site 4 business days, does this include the day we arrive? Because if not then the TA has failed me and the wedding coordinator who has not caught this mistake for about 7 months. Especially if there are already 2 weddings the day after.

I had gone to a couple of places and looked around for body shapers. And from my experience I was told that however all the good stuff holds you in, you WILL sweat like a pig because of the thick material. I was told that my best bet was spanx, because it is lightweight but reasonably gets the job done. If you are hellbent on getting something a little sturdier I would suggest getting a strapless bra seperate and a mid-thigh body suit (covers thighs, and tummy)

No I'm pretty sure it is included. Just when you've reached your time limit of 1hr cocktail our and 3hr reception then you have to pay extra p/p per hour. Maybe that was what they were talking about. After our reception I think we're just going to head to Desires lounge/bar and enjoy free drinks and dancing there. I have yet to hear anything about this bar though

I am yoyoing like crazy. Exams stressing me out and not having time to work out and eat healthy is driving me nuts. I need to lose it and maintain. And maintaining seems to be the hardest of all.

Very Pretty! If those are dollar store flowers too they look pretty good. I can't tell if those are real candles or the fake ones, but I heard that the fake ones are best because of the wind blowing them out.
