This is the silver menu, Gina told me that I am allowed to mix and match between the gold and silver if I would like, and this also includes the appetizers as well. If you want colored chair bows a lot of women on here have found good sites with cheap prices I've heard that if you don't want the Mexican Trio you can transfer the cost of that ($560) towards something else. awesome ! my gym offers Zumba but I'm soo bad with the following directions part and cooridination that I just don't go to that class anymore

yes I'm contemplating moving the ceremony time to 4:00pm then everything will be moved ahead. I just know people will still want to party. I haven't heard much about the resort clud though and how good that is

Just came back from an intense 1 hour and 30 min workout. 30 min elliptical and 1 hour bootcamp. The bootcamp was brutal, my arms were jello halfway through and I pretended to do my pushups and was hoping no one was looking lol I now realize I have no upper body strength to speak of. I think I might buy 5lb weights to practice at home. Yes, I said only 5lbs! once again embaressed

Oh ya I also wanted to add that certain dresses just look better as buttons and others better as lace ups, especially ones with a fuller bottom, like a ballgown look better as lace ups. More sleek clean lined dresses look better with buttons. I'm actually suprised at how many women on here prefer lace ups. I could only imagine how well they fit, I never tried one on so I dont know. I am hoping though that my dress creates that skin tight feel too.

It helps for me to just read and watch weight loss shows. I especially like the last 10 lbs and all those other Slice network weight loss shows. They motivate me to get up right that moment and start working out. The hardest part is these Canadian winters and not wanting to get in the car and get out to the gym.

Personally I prefer a back with buttons, I think it is timeless and elegant! But then you have the buttons to deal with, unless you get a hidden zipper and fake buttons. Its really up to you and the look you want. I am just in favour of buttons because I think they look much more elegant.

Well I just got a response email from Gina and she has informed me that if having the reception on the pool terrace all noise has to cease by 10:00pm!! I knew that the wedding would have to end early but not THIS early! I don't know if this would be a problem for you but thought I'd give you the heads up if you already didn't know. Oh and what time are you getting married? She gave me my timeline and it is Ceremony 6:30-7:30 Cocktail Hour 7:30-8:30 Dinner 8:30-11:30... Dinner at 8:30 is seeming pretty late. And because of this she advised me to move our party to the beach because of the noise issue.. Ugh so many problems now . Does anyone know what time the party has to end before having to start to pay extra ?

Oh yes I hope the other bride will be great too, it will be horrible if she's a bridezilla or something. How much of a difference is using the DJ as opposed to the sound equipment? and would you have an entire playlist already set out for the night or have someone manning the music? Oh ya when we started this whole thing we thought it wouldn't be nearly as much as its turning out to be, even the airfare is adding up, and including at home things as well. Like an at home reception and kenneling the dogs. And ya started to lose weight but keep yo-yoing, I;ve got the gym membership and a trainer but both of those have been sidelined. Good luck losing weight, do you have any plans to start the process ?

Wow absolutley gorgeous! the dress looks great on you and the veil matches perfectly. your ringbearer? is the cutest too in his outfit and hand, lovely outfit. I originally wanted a lace dress but couldn't find one that was what I wanted (exactly like yours!). Was the lace hot and heavy to wear at all ? And i'm looking forward to your planning thread if your making one.

lol yes I would think she is lying too, sound travels over water so.... Anyways there's nothing I can do about it now so I'm thinking I shouldn't stress over it. I am using the resort DJ so I hope they're good, I havent' really put much thought into the music part yet, but are there better DJ's than others at the resort? What about you, who are you using for a DJ? And since I'm getting married before you I'll let you know if you can really hear the other wedding party or not that is if you want to know, or pretend like you can't hear it lol.

Thanks so much for finding the page number for me, I would have never had the patience to look. It does look very beautiful, I'm actually pleasantly surprised. Now my only concern is being so close to the other wedding party that will be on the pool deck. I'm positive we'll be able to hear their music. When is your wedding date ?

And now I recently found out that the pool deck is taken for reception and I am very upset about this because I have had my deposit in since May of last year and had told her of my ideas. Now I guess I need to find out the next best option for a reception, does anyone have any suggestions? How are you finding it having have wedding coordinators switched on you so many times ? is the information being recorded so that you don't have to repeat yourself?

Hmm after reading a couple of the recent posts I'm starting to worry. My wedding coordinator that I was set up with was Ana Garcia. I have not had much contact with her but reading that there is no mention of her as a wedding coordinator and only Yamina or Evangelina, it makes me think that maybe she does not work there anymore? Could anyone let me know because I have sent an email to her and have not any replies. And if she doesn't work there anymore why was I not informed of this !!!

How we Met I was on a blind date that was horrible and cut it short to get out of there. I managed to convince the date to give me a ride to my local billard/lounge, which is a common hang out. Once I got there I met up with my best friend who was there with her boyfriend and all of his friends. They had been dating for about 2 years and I had met most of his friends. I was sitting at a table enjoying a drink and watching a game of pool when my future FI came over and struck up a conversation with me. He was charming and we had great conversation. He actually even listened to what I was saying and later in the night put on a few favourite songs I had mentioned on the jukebox. That really impressed me. As the night went one the party moved to someones house where Mike had become increasingly intoxicated. It was quite amusing as I could tell he had a thing for me and kept trying to get my attention. At the end of the night we went our separate ways and I really thought nothing of it. A few days later I received a call from him, apparently my best friends boyfriend gave him my number and advised him to apologize for his behaviour that night. He asked me out on a formal date, which I only agreed to go on because I remembered how nice he was before he got drunk. It took a few dates before we developed any real feelings for each other, because we both thought we were uninterested. Him thinking I was only going out with him only out of sympathy, and me thinking that he was not looking for anything serious and just a friend. Fast Forward Eventually we became an official item on February 14 and were inseperable! In 2010 we bought a house together, and he let me pick it out! We rescued a dog, named him Archie, and were pretty happy. The Proposal I work graveyard shifts and Mike is usually gone for work before I get home in the morning. I was greeted by a dozen red roses and chocolates ! I thought that this was just a regular Valentines gift and was happy but not yet suspicious. I went to school and during lunch I was suprised by an Elvis singing telegram, he sang me love songs, gave me a huge white teddy bear, balloon, and candies ! At this point I knew that it wasn't just a regular Valentines day but didn't want to hope, because then I would have been disappointed. Mike said he was going to take me out for dinner that evening and to dress up nice. I got ready and I could tell he was nervous, catching him take a few shots in the kitchen. When we left the house there was a white stretch limo waiting to take us to our destination. Halfway through the ride he told me to close my eyes because he wanted it to be a suprise. When we arrived I realized that we were at the fanciest restuarant in city, 529 Wellington. Dinner was great, good wine and good food. However he did not propose to me so I became a little disappointed as we left to head home. When we got home I was suprised to see that there were candles set up and flowers everywhere in our bedroom !! I was shocked and he asked if I wanted desert, he got down and opened a box from our favourite cake shop, an oreo cheesecake. And on it said.... I looked at him in shock and he asked if I would marry him. I was in such disbelief that all I could say was, "no way" and "your joking" as I punched him in the arm a couple of times lol. I finally composed myself enough to say yes! We each called our family and told them the good news. Once we were done that's when he told me that the ring was only cubic zirconia and I had the joy of picking out my own ring ! The bliss lasted for days This is the ring I eventually decided on!

I haven't actually seen a picture of these cups everyone talks about, but they must be pretty cool if your FI is bent on them. My FI has absolutly no opinion, his opinion is "whatever makes you happy babe, I just want you to be happy" its nice, but sometimes an opinion would be much appreciated. We bought his outfit today, custom tailored tan vest and pant option, and it only cost $225. We still have to get the shoes, shirt, and tie but its a good start.Ya only 3 months its creeping up so fast, I'm excited and nervous all at the same time!!!

Congratulations!! I agree that you should definatly be compensated, it is a special day and if you were led to believe you were receiving one thing but turns out you weren't, it is very stressful. I have the same worries that I told them what I wanted but once I get down there, they will say no sorry not available. For the ceremony I thought I saw a steel drum option? Well I know they have other things like a saxaphone if that is your style? I am just going to have them play something from my Ipod because I have a specifc song I want to walk down to. There is a forum started with what everyone is choosing for their songs, you should check that out.

Absolutly gorgeous! If I didn't already have a dress I would totally want yours ! as for strap or no strap, I think it all depends on your figure. Some people look better in strapless and some look better with a one shoulder strap. Who is the designer by the way?

Hmm I'll have to look into it. I just had the worst weekend ever with corrupting my diet. Started off with all you can eat sushi (which I definatly took advantage of the 'all you can eat') Then went out to a party and drank all night and finished it off with 2 cheeseburgers and fries. Then the next morning working off my hangover I had myself a bag of sweet chili and sour cream chips (mmmmmm) and an apple fritter and boston cream donut. It was such a bad weekend I'm feeling really guilty and now Vday is in a couple days and we usually celebrate with a pasta dinner . Its the alcohol I think that made my weekend horrible. How can you have a fun night out without drinking !
