Actually, they do sent photo before they ship your dress. I have asked them to send me update photo of the dress, but they said they only send picture after they complete it. So now I will just have to sit tight for another 2 weeks and wait it out.

Well, my wedding is in May, so our travel date is from May 14-20. My TA from Westjet vacation is Vicki Leslie, she has been great. She even helped one of our guest change their itinerary even though they purchased through our group rate. One other reason why we got such a great rate was because they had early booking bonus which was about $150-200 off if you paid within a month period after I got the quote. We told our guest and they had no problem, so that was a big saving for everyone. Prior to Westjet, I've gotten quotes from Air Canada, Itravel2000, and Flight Center, none could compare. So definitely check out Westjet!

I got a really good deal with Westjet through a group rate. Our guest are staying 7 day 6 night for about $1105/person flying out from Vancouver.

Your dress is stunning. I think the second hair style suits the ceremony, and then you can just let you hair down for the reception if you want some variety. Personally, I think both looks great, and would probably lean towards the first a little more, just because it looks sweet and suit your dress.

Well, my situation is a little more unique than other, because neither of our parents will be attending our wedding. This destination wedding is purely for ourselves, because our parents are in Asia, and we will be hosting another wedding there for them and their friends. So this wedding is just us and our close friends. I was discussing with my bridesmaids on this, and it seems I have 3 options: 1. walk down by myself 2. walk down with a friend 3. walk down with my FI (never thought of this until they brought it up) What do you guys think? Well, my budget is around 13K and I am doing pretty good in terms of keep it around theere. I guess the cost really depends on how many people are actually attending.

I like no.1. Just like everyone said, I had a dress in mind and saw similar style online. Only after I went out and actually tried on dress, did I realized some styles are more suitable than others for my body type.

We are also paying for everything ourselves. If other people pays, they will have a say, so it's just much easier to pay for it all by ourselves.

I agree with AquaCait. This gift bag is really there just to show your appreciation for them being their for you. I am sure my guests will bring some of the stuff already in the OOT bags, but I am equally sure others will forget certain things. On top of that, I am certain no one will bring a ID card holder with wrist strap.
