  1. Sorry about my last post I was on another page and it linked to this one somehow.
  2. You did such a wonderful job, Love the oh S*it bags. I also really like the do not disturb hangers.
  3. Has anyone done their own Thank you Parasol? If so can you give me some pointers of how to do this. Thank you,
  4. AlexaB731, I am doing OOT bags, right now the plan is try and get everything in one piece of luggage, but with everything else that I am bringing we shall see if I can accomplish that. Right now I am still picking up items as we go, and trying to find bags. Have you gotten your bags yet? I will definitely let you know if i hear anything else about the linens. Pink and orange are my colors so that would be perfect for me.
  5. Hi AlexaB731, I got an email back from Dexter about the archway with the pink and orange sheets, he stated that it was $350, but he was checking with the resort to make sure they have them.
  6. What an awesome way to ask your friends to be your bridesmaid. They look amazing, I wouldn't want to take the message out either. You are so right while you are working on the project, you are not sure how these DIY projects are going to come out but then when you see your finished product it makes all the headaches and late nights ok. You did a wonderful job.
  7. Hi Ladies, I also have Dexter, just had my meeting with him last week. I was expecting him to push allot of their items on me, but surprisingly he didn't. The only thing he was kind of persistent on was the photography package, which I kindly said over and over my family and friends are taking photos. No need to tell him that I am booked with TI. I am also doing the BB with very few add on's. Quotes that I got for the arches were for the plain bamboo arch it was $250, vision, flutter and chic is $350, island paradise with the flowers was $2000 (pretty steep). I am going to email him to ask about the orange and pink on the bamboo, so as soon as I find out I will post it. Did anyone use the salon at the resort for their hair? I am curious
  8. That is awesome, I will have to put the koozies on my list. Any suggestions on where to purchase bags?
  9. Ok Ladies, I just had my phone session with the WC last Friday and here is what I was able to find out: The island paradise arch with flowers is $2000, just the plain bamboo arch is still $200 and like mentioned above all the others themes are $350 If any one wants the Rose Sprinkled isle $180 I also wanted to know about the flip flop station which was $25 for bride and groom, then each additional pair is $10 The Bridal Bliss ( trial hair, hair day of wedding, mani, pedi, and trail make up and make up day of ) $280 Flower for hair $35 Boutonniere I asked about 2 $25 Corsage 1 $35 Hope this helps
  10. Flip flops is one of the themes for our wedding and I have been toying with the idea of ordering them or waiting till Old Navy does their $1 flip flop weekend. I do like the idea of towels, we don't have allot of people ( right now we are at 10). I have heard great things about the Sandals Whitehouse Resort, I met a couple of people who went there for their honeymoon when the resort first opened and they loved it.
  11. Hello ladies, I am looking for some suggestions from ladies who have already had their wedding at Beaches T&C. I am wondering what items did you put in your OOT bags that were a hit and what items should we definitely avoid doing. So far I have hand sanitizer, tissues, first aid kits, and sunblock. Please help! Thank you,
  12. Hello everyone, I finally got my passport invites completed. I am happy with the results for the most part, I had a really hard time with aligning everything but for the most part I think I did ok for my first time. I had a lot of help from other ladies on the forum and took allot of the great wording I saw from other ladies.
  13. stluciabound, Ohhh sweetie I am soo sorry that your situation took a turn for the worst instead of the better. Like the other ladies have said it is extremely painfully now, but keep your eyes, and heart open and you will find that special someone that deserves you. You deserve someone that will support you and be able to make decisions for himself. Keep your head up and spirits up.
  14. Hi Lillove 81, Hopefully I can help with a couple of answers to your planning questions. A few of the ladies on the forum here suggested that I use a travel agent and so far it has been wonderful. I don't have as many guest as you but for those that are attending our wedding they have asked a ton of questions and it has been very nice to say you can contact the travel agent and she will be happy to answer all your questions. Question 2: From what we were told there is really no group rate with Beaches but if you find out differently please let me know. Question 3: you can have up to five people in a room, you would have to request a rollaway bed. Question 4: I didn't really give a limit as to how long people could stay, I presented you can make it a mini vacation so you can stay as long as you like. Question 5: I did passport invitations and boarding pass RSVP, I got the idea of the forum here Hope this helps,
