  1. I spotted them at Walmart also yesterday, double-walled acrylic cups with straw, many different colors/styles. If you only need ten then definetely just buy them at Walmart or someplace and get the waterproof clear stickers for them or something similar to personalize them!
  2. Thank you so much for posting a picture! They look fab You must let us know how the iron on transfer takes
  3. Oh and my whole point of posting - I can't change the colors! When I go 'format picture' it gives me options to change the colors to.. mostly like black and white or grayscale or sepia.. but I can't choose my own colors... boo urns
  4. i'm wondering how the heck all of you guys (a ton of you are saying "just my colors too"!) to get your husbands/fiancee's to go along with orange and bright pink!? I wanted pink & brown at first.. he was like no way It was a battle over the turquoise.. but I finally won.. if I agreed there would be some black accents somewhere too lol
  5. Every time I do a vistaprint order I get the same personalized pen, notebook, keychain and notepad. Then I've been getting tshirts for the guests, I figure we'll do one day of the week where everyone gets together somewhere with their tshirts on for a group photo. I've also gotten a personalized temporary tattoo design done by Buttonhead on etsy. My fiancee (and his best man) are tattoo lovers (which is why I'm making them wear long sleeves for a DW ) and my fiancee also loves pirates, skulls, stuff like that, so we got a little cartoon design of the two of us decked out like pirates.. lol - but you can get a 'classic tattoo' design as well, I got em through buttonhead on etsy. Oh, and if you guys want to do any kind of personalized flasks or stuff like that.. before you go through the wedding sites, check out eBay! We got personalized flasks done for $7.99 plus shipping, but three lines of personalization included
  6. Yup, just ask your local Avon lady! I know it is in this campaign that goes out Sunday (Campaign 13) but the $1.89 price is in the next Campaign as well - but you can always go back at least two campaigns if I'm not mistaken. (Like 12 was due May 29 but I can still order from 12 for at least another 2 wks). I'm just a rookie avon lady though. You guys may want to ask a pro, lol. If you go to AVON.ca you can hit an option that says find a local representative for your area
  7. Yes I want to see the pictures too! And take pictures of it next to something or with something inside so we can figure out the size.. like water bottle or flip flops or something.. please?
  8. I saw this in the flyer too, and I didn't get a notification. I think these are just the Bubba Keg coolers, which are different from Bubba Mugs.. but you can always try and find out Sale starts tomorrow! Good luck
  9. Don't know if anyone else buys AVON but in their current campaign (Campaign 13) the 150ml tube of Care Deeply Aloe Gel is on for $1.89... pretty good price for that size. I've seen the smaller bottles of aloe but people always get so sunburnt and you need a lot of it for relief, especially if you burn your shoulders/back! I just started selling Avon as a way to try to raise extra $ for the wedding, I'm going to be my own best customer lol
  10. So first of all I found Jennifer Allison designs through someone on this site when I first joined and got her to do a custom logo/monogram for me since I am getting married on a cruise ship.. she has a maximum of three different edits you can do with her design for a set price that you pay ahead of time... and working together we came up with: Which I thought was super nice and polished and professional looking... I still like it very much. Then after seeing some of the designs that Allurements by Rebecca has done.. I couldn't stay away.. have you guys's seen Brandy's Planning thread? If not, go check it out.. you'll see what I mean when I say I wanted a monogram that had design elements in it that would tie all of my stuff together.. not just sticking the same logo on every tag, postcard, etc but the design scheme and colors, etc. So this is what Rebecca has come up with for us, and I LOVE it: It's gorgeous, I love it, and we were able to sneak some personal stuff in there, like the little skull and crossbones, my fiancee is big into skulls and pirates and tattoos and motorcycles and all that sort of thing, lol, and I was hoping to have that expressed somewhere where it wouldn't look too awkward.. then for myself I asked for a feather to be snuck into the design somewhere because of my being a First Nations person and I wanted to get the Aboriginal part in there without it taking over the design.. plus I gave her colors to work with and told her what starfish I liked best (I don't particularly like the 'pencil' starfish) and voila~ oh and she got a little cruise ship in there too! Bonus
  11. I love super detailed photos-of-everything planning threads like yours, make me so excited for my big day Everything looks awesome! What's in a bridesmaids survival kit?
  12. Everything looks so elegant and AMAZING! And it looks like you guys had an awesome time! Your whole family/bridal party looks so handsome/beautiful! Awesome, thanks so much for posting all of this! And teehee @ hulk hogan
  13. Holy s**t, for lack of a better term. These are the some of the most professional looking DIY ticket invitations I've ever seen. Incredible job with the designs, and what is that little ringy loop thing, such a simple design but looks so elegant! Kudos to you and your team, I can't wait to search and see what else you guys came up with
  14. Oh wow! I have never seen a DIY project where I loved ALL of the colors in the project but I really really really like this one. I wonder if it's too late to convince my FI to have a bit of purple in there along with our turquoise, aqua, greens, and black and white, lol... I know this is an older project but really fab, great job with it, love it, i'm sure your guests were wowed by it! That's what I want, to send my guests something that will make them excited (well, even more excited) about the trip!
  15. If I were you and somewhere like Staples didn't have it, I would try a more local office supply place, we have a place we order from for our organization and they seem to be able to order lots of things in that aren't in the store... just an idea.. good luck!
  16. That's cool, I always wondered how hard it was for places to have those when I see them in newspapers and stuff...
  17. Boarding passes (real ones) usually come in a little folder or loose anyway.. stapling them would seem odd to me. I'd keep them loose or just something like ribbon if you want to hold them together.
  18. This looks COOL! Especially if like say the bride and groom held up a little sign that says "Thank you!" during the 'video' and then it gets incorporated into the flip book.. I truly like this idea - Even if we just gave it to our wedding party or parents in law after the wedding?? Love the ideas you get on this forum!!
  19. These are REALLY nice! I'm in the middle of designing save the dates now with Allurements by Rebecca, and I don't think I'll need formal invites after this either. I really love all of the detail work you put into these, did it take you forever?? Great news on the response rate too
  20. I figured I'd take them to a place that does engraving, I know a local trophy shop that engraved some knives for me before, so I was going to take them to there and inquire if they can be engraved and for how much.. since they do have a metal thing.. and I'd only engrave it with the persons first name they're intended for, not any of the wedding details or whatever. And that's IF we want to personalize them. And yes the raincheck had no problems, you tell them how many you had wanted (I had needed an additional 8) and they gave me a raincheck for 8, I even got a little notice telling me when they were back in stock and I was able to go in and pick them up after that.
