Slightly worried! I thought we had FI's divorce certificate, but it is actually his separation agreement. Now we have to order it from out of state and I expect it will take 2 weeks to get back to us. That puts it at past the 60 day mark that Monica emailed me. I'm a little confused because the paperwork says a late fee is applied if documents are received within 21 days of travel date. I am reading that to mean I have 5 more weeks than I thought. Anyone have experience with this! I emailed Monica but it usually takes about a week to get a response... (I know she's busy, just saying....)

Okay, don't mind the kids! We brought our daughter's friend one year and I didn't have pics without people! the Parrot Kay has the separate bedroom, but it is the pullout couch, not the bed. The bed is in the main area (with the bathroom access). The bar is in the room with the pullout couch. I'll look for French Village pics, just in case anyone is interested!

@Melissa- sorry I missed this! I'm staying in the governors suite. I've stayed in the parrot Kay and french village as well. I preferred the parrot Kay actually for convenience and privacy. We bring our daughter so it's nice to have a separate room! I'll see if I have any pics..

Melissa, when are you getting married? I'm getting married Aug 10th this year and it will just be me, him, and my then 16 year old daughter. I've been curious as well! If I get married before you, I'll be sure to post pix!

It's just going to be me, him, and our 15 year old daughter. We are all about stress free! I was never the girl to dream about a big formal wedding and this suits us perfectly! He's divorced and I think she might have been a bridezilla so he REALLY wanted to keep it low key!

Hi ladies! This is a great thread and I'm hoping I can call on some of you experts for some advice! I'm interested in getting these two dresses made and would like to know the best maker for them. (Doesn't have to be the same maker.) The wedding dress isn't normally very expensive, but I want some changes made to it like a corset back, for example. I would really appreciate any thoughts! The dress picture is terrible, but it has some rouching on the top, and the bottom is chiffon. (Mori Lee voyage 6701, I think) The bridesmaid dress would be magenta and the black "stripes" are mesh. I think the fabric is tafetta, but I am definitely not certain. (Simone Carvalli Fall 2010 97007?) Thanks in advance!

Go with what you love! If it's somewhat impractical to be in all day, buy a shorter, lighter reception dress as well... Mine is chiffon, but it's what I envisioned for my Day.

I booked 6 months before my date. I'm getting married august 10, 2011. That part wasn't bad but I missed out on the dress I wanted because I didn't shop right away! Even with super rush they wouldn't promise to get it in time before I leave, let alone for alterations!

We have a 4 p time but it is just us... After ceremony we will go off site for pics. I think the late afternoon is supposed to be good lighting for pics.
