We had issues with Expedia when we booked for my FSIL wedding. It was such a mess, but we were the only ones who went through Expedia, and now I feel horrible after knowing what she could have had if we had booked through her TA We suck

As I've learned from finding BDW, if you keep looking you won't ever decide. So FI and I had to make a list of what we each wanted out of the resort and compare. That helped us narrow it down, and then we let our feelings decide. We had it narrowed down to 2, and there was only one resort that felt right, and if we looked at the other it felt like we were "cheating" on the resort we truly loved and that is how we finally realized it was the right one. I know it sounds easy to just stop looking, but you already know which one you want, it just will take you time to figure out which one is the perfect fit.

Oh how simple that was. I was having the hardest time trying to figure out how I wanted to word the website reply and it was driving me crazy. So thank you to whoever bumped this up so that I could have my "DUH" moment. I knew I was making it way more complicated than it needed to be.

I think we will be doing a MIB for our wedding invitation instead of the STD's. Have you gotten your bottles yet krsmith?

It is so hard to "guess" how many people will truly end up going. We are planning so far in advance, but everyone says it's such an awesome idea and of course they are going to be there. I don't know if they will truly be there because they probably do not want to hurt our feelings so of course they are going to say yes to our faces. I have to have the attitude that it will work out otherwise I think I might cry.

You still were asked to send out STD's for people you didn't know? Crazy. I thought you got out of that because you are having a DW, or at least I am getting out of it for that reason.

Also, how did you make the sleeve? Did you find a template? I'm searching the boards for one right now but I figured I'd ask as long as I was here. TIA

How is everyone's planning going? I just started working on my STD design even though I do not officially have a date. We met with our friend who is a Graphic Designer to work on a logo for us. I want to try to do as much as possible myself which is kind of crazy since I am definitely not the DIY type but when I look at the cost of the items that I want to for my wedding, it blows me away. I saw a non destination wedding invitation that was beautiful but it was $220.00 for 25. Are they crazy? How can people afford to get married if just the invitation alone can cost that much. I've been buying items for our OOT bags as I see them and it's items that I can add more if I need to they aren't "special" which is why I like that the bags don't have to match perfectly. Is everyone having a bridal party? I don't know what I am going to do yet. I do not want anyone to feel obligated to go just because I want them to stand up with me. It's such a weird situation that I will just have to see how I feel as everything gets nailed down.

I was wondering about this too even though I have yet to send out STD's or anything. I'd feel broken hearted if I didn't get an invitation too...although I don't think I would have thought about it from that POV if I hadn't seen this post.
