I am planning my OOT bag items now. My wedding is set for June 4th and we have about 18 booked thus far. I can't wait to buy my items. We are still trying to figure out what to do for our rehearsal dinner. Happy planning ladies!!!!

We picked DPC after we went to the resort last year. It only cost us about $700 pp for about 4 days. It was a last minute booking. I may help to see the place. Just look at apple vacations for 3 or 4 day deals. All you really need is at least 2 days to fall in love (actually I fell in love as soon as I arrived). You can contact the WC prior to going and meet with her as soon as you arrive. Hope this helps. Happy planning

My wedding is in May and I sent save the dates a year in advance. Well only 14 has booked their tickets, not including one of my bridesmaids and PARENTS. They are hoping that the prices will go down. Another one of my bridesmaids accepted being a bridemaid and later decided to get pregnant. It is very frustrating. I know I did not want a huge wedding but at least wanted more than 15 people there. I feel everyone's pain.

I have heard that some people have done a meet and great at one of the outdoor bars. I have been to dreams last year to check out the site and they have several bars outdoors and indoors. They also have different activities all week. One I really liked was a BBQ, but I don't think they have that info in advance. They also have shows later in the evening that you can also have your guest see. (Seriously, as I am typing this, I am thinking about doing one of these options as I too am having difficulty with what to do). Someone also mentioned doing an excursion and charge half price for their guest giving them an option if they want to go. Hope this helps.

We should all send the resort a letter stating how unhappy we are about this. We should be grandfathered in. I agree, the resort photographers are overpriced and are not as good as Micheal W. This really blows!!!!!

I am waiting to hear back from my WC. That is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! I am freaking out right now. How can they do this???? What would happen if we had a photographer there, without knowing about the "new rule"? This totally blows!!!!

Outside of the country?? I booked Micheal W. to do my wedding and he is outside of dreams. My wedding is this year, June!! How is this gonna work???

We did not include our registry in our STD or formal invites. We did include the wedding website since there is a lot of information that could not be put in invite. Our website also has our registry on there. We did not include any wording. Just a tab for registry, that way if they want to give us anything they can.

We are getting married this year June in Dreams Punta Cana. What we did was look up various resorts and asked the wedding coordinators pricing information. We compared prices and we did go to our site for only a few days to check it out. We looked for good prices to make the trip. Hope this helps.

We picked the DR because I am Haitian and he is part Jamaican so it was a perfect fit. I love the Caribbean culture in general, which made the decision easier. I have been to Mexico, which is a great country, but I wanted a true tropical island feel to my wedding.

Im getting married at DPC on June 4th of this year and me and FI want to have good champagne at the resort. It cost too much to pay the premium prices. We would like to have 30 bottles sent down. Has anyone done this? Is there a place nearby to buy good champagne? If so does anyone know of what they have?

I am using Mixbook for our guest books. The site is easy to use and the books seemed really nice. Can't wait for my order.

These questions can be answered in the Dreams Punta Cana Brides. You will see TONS of pics, although I am unsure they have pics of the rooms. There are pics decorated and not decorated in wedding stuff. Take a look.

I think 4imprint does this. I don't remember how much, but they definitely have this option.
