Oh GF I feel your pain, this is such a popular theme in this forum. My personal opinion.......go for what makes YOU feel gorgeous and not what you think others may think. NO.......you are not suposed to feel comfortable.....i would pick beautiful over comfort for my wedding dress anyday !!! Youre not in it that long I must say , as others have said, you are stunning in either!!! Truly you cant go wont. I think the first one is very glamorous and princess like........the other way is gorgeous but a light feeling, but fit your body fantastic (im jealous). Also, keep in mind..........I too was in your situation and I am stuck with a dress I cant sell yet, or rather NO luck selling yet, but I LOVE my second dress.... I am naturally indecisive so i expected this from myself.....LOL. Again, you cant go wrong, but if you LOVE the other one...GO FOR IT and try to sell the other one............If you can financially afford it. Good luck...

Ok, heres the story, got my first dress at davids bridal, then continued to look and found something else....There is nothing wrong with the dress. Tags still attached. Perfect beachy lightweight dress with chapel train, strapless, zipper up back. No alterations have been made, in original condition.... SMB, you are driving yourself crazy..........LOL First, please do not order a dress online unless you have tried that exact dress on and know you LOVE the fit, You are like me a very finicky about the way a dress looks............ I made it my mission this weekend to replace my original dress and buy my second dress........So i am DONE and will not look at another dress EVER...LOL I looked allover online, took pics to stores and sure enough every dress i thought i loved ......WAS NOT....but we were able to determine what worked and didnt work on me.......and finally got one I really liked..........I never FELL in LOVE with anything, but I think I got super overwhelmed looking at way toooo many dresses.......that was just my personal experience..........the more i obsessed online and whatnot the harder it got.......again just my personal experience........but we are getting close........so no pressure..........pick soon......LOL xoxooxx SMB...

Thanks Ladies... I have not found a whole lot of information on the reputation with photographers in Mexico, but I havent search very hard either. I went with my gut and hired Aki Demi, she is super sweet and personable and has been completely open minded to all my ideas and truthful. I have a good feeling about her........we emailed a lot back and forth, took me a 6 weeks to make the final decision. thanks for all your help. FORUM is priceless. Happy New Year May 5, 2011

They told me it would be "close".......but they sent me pics of "their" dress and its not close at all...LOL I had no idea this was a "knockoff" site..........duuhhh......how dumb am I?? I am on a budget as much of us are.....I went to David's Bridal and havent found anything there I like. BUT........I like so many online. As we all know, some things look fantastic on others, then we put it on on our bodies and YUK...what happened. Anywayz....................any brides out there with advice on buying a dress online??? Here ia the website i am interested in buying from......Please take a look if you can and give any advice. You guys are awesome, cant wait to hear the responses. i HATE to buy this dress, get it in mail, hate it and incur all the costs in returning it...

I got mine through apple vacations, so I never really looked at the breakdown of it.......just went with it...... HUH....I wonder then. I fly out of Pittsburgh with nonstop to Cancun, but then again we did First Class tix too. Isnt that bad, I just dunno what it costs, I figured I HAD to buy tix, there was NO doubt about it...... Was I stupid?? LOL

I have done the same thing as you, drove myself crazy looking for photographers.......I got a lot of suggestions from the WC at the resorts I was once researching before I booked my hotel....Secrets Maroma. I am on a low budget also so I was looking for a really good deal. I can say many that I got a hold off are not listed on this forum..... I only asked for a 2hour slot........with this includes my mini TTD post ceremony too. HI, pretty much all the photographers i contacted will do a TTD session seperately or with your other photos, I am getting mine done all at one time, ceremony pics then ttd.......then back to hotel and shower for dinner, but i understand brides want to stay beautiful to reception. I do my own hair and makeup so not a biggie for me.....

Oh yes my BFF...lol...........i will be shopping for my 2nd dress, I am AN ASS..........but one good thing for me, my 1st dress was $100.00 so not too much of a loss, i settled......which i should not have done........ill just try to sell it, still has tags on it...lol SMB did you buy one yett??? or jus looking at two??

i am in the same boat as you. i went dress shopping and bought one of the rack first day. then i did what YOU ARE NOT SUPOSED TO DO.........i looked at other dresses............and now i hate the one i have. Moral of the story, pick your dress and DONT LOOK ANYMORE..... but its too late for us, we looked more,......so now we have a situation...... Hmm, i am with you......what to do, what to do?? But i think with alterations your dress is awesome, you are gorgeous with an awesome shape to you. I love the dress... Remember you may love that 2nd dress pic, but you have NO IDEA what it will look like ON...........you really dont..........so i wouldnt go for that second dress unless i could try it on first. tough decision,..............I say get the one you have now fitted and you will feel SOOOO much better about it now being "yours"....then STOP LOOKING AT BRIDE DRESSES...LOL Hope it helps...

Wow, thanks for the reality check, i get married May 5, 2011.........I keep thinking its so far away. I am so torn between photographers right now......... my problem I dont trust outside vendors to show up, why am i so worried about this??? Im obessed!! Help!!

REALLY? YOU HAVE TO RUSH THERE? oh crap!!..lol The FI does not want to take much time for pics, so the 2 hours is ceremony 3 to 330, post ceremony 330 to 350, 350 to 400 walk to the hacienda, 4 to 430 pics at hacienda, 430 5 pics in ocean to respresent a mini TTD session. Does that seem unreasonable? My photographers say it can be done! You think they are hoping i will buy more time??? Most important pics are the hacienda and ocean pics, maybe skip the post ceremony pics then, I really dont want any traditional pics....I want out of the box pics.... You have me thinking.........hhmmmm?

I have to agree...... I personally learned from experience. This is my second marriage and my first wedding dress is preserved in a box under my bed and no one dare to wear it since it is so outta style now....... So I am gonna Trash My Dress and honestly leave it at the resort...........LOL Sounds terrible I know..........but I wont wear it again

I got the opposite response. "WHAT"...that much money??? I am very happy you will have so many guests, I am jealous.

Tough question for me also This is my second marriage and my children are from my first marriage, they are twin boys (not girls, therefore of course, their name will never change) I am sad to not have the same last name as my children but proud to carry my FI' name. Still not sure, I may drop my maiden name and middle name and have my two last names.........they are very simple last names......example Smith. That way I am still attached to my children. Tough call....... Not even sure if you can do that.........can you? Example..........Dana Smith Jones.....??
