  5. Not sure if anyone has come across this thread yet but it is awesome. It's called "What I would and wouldn't do again...." 61 pages of past brides experiences on everything and what they liked/disliked and would recommend...awesome thread, just thought I would share.
  6. Anyone have any pics of colored orchids for hair flowers?
  7. Congrats and Welcome! This site is so awesome!
  8. My sister did a book and it was a little off I think too. I used a template and customized the template and it turn out perfect. The Front and back and spine are all customizable and you can get your book in soft cover or hard cover. With their books you have to have a minimum amount of pages so that they can bind it properly or else they just leave the pages blank at the end, which worked out OK for my book because it was a gift for another bride of her bachelorette party and we all signed the back pages so it was kind of a good thing for that. It's a pretty good site though it tells you if you have enough pages and so forth.
  9. ooohhh I like them both! Personally I like the style of #2 more but I agree that they both look really good on you. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
  10. Mixbook is awesome! I have done a book and used them to do Christmas cards. Really affordable and good quality!
  11. I love #1 and #2, I want to try on #1 too. I have never seen the second one but it's really nice too. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
  12. Is that $600 per person?
  13. Have you tried swimming? Deep water workouts are pretty good.
  14. We are getting married at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Feb 2012!!! Can't wait!!

  18. Hey, I know we have been getting rediculous quotes as well, which is why I am deciding on whether to use a travel agent or not at all. I have been reviewing prices for dreams PV for over a year now and I have a pretty good idea of what the prices should be (between $1500-$1700 per person for a deluxe room, in Feb since it is high season), So when I get quotes for over $2000, I have to wonder how accurate that is. I think because it is so far out they just give you any old number and then once all the companies come out with prices it forces them to become competitive and the prices drop. Atleast this is what I am hoping for. That's awesome that you know people in the business, Dazzling details works with Plush sometimes, their work is amazing. It was a toss up between Dazzling Details and Mishka, but I had fallen in love with Dazzling Details before I had come across Mishka and I just think my mind was already set on them. I am going to the Bridal Center in March, haven't been there yet but my sister got her dress there and loved it. I haven't been to Puerto Vallarta before. I have been to the Mayan 4 times and we wanted something we knew but also a different location then we'd been to. I just did some research and the reviews speak wonders. I like the idea of smaller resorts better. I have been to both large and small resorts and I didn't like having to walk a mile to get from your room to the beach at the large resorts. I am hoping that I made the right decision as we won't be able to do a site visit. We don't start planning until the spring time with DD, I can't wait to start!! So excited!!
  19. Miss Emma, Yah! another PV Bride! I am getting married at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Feb 2012, Our coordinator is Dazzling Details, haven't started too much planning yet..more to come in the spring. I haven't really found a great travel agent yet either, I am wondering if is just cheaper to find deals online then going with group rates. I was told that rates should be out about 10 months before, so I am waiting another month and then going to compare prices. My fiance and I really want to fly West Jet because we have always been impressed with their service and prices and I know I won't be stressed out if I travel with West Jet. Which resort are you thinking of going with? Who's you coordinator? That's awesome that you found your dress, I am still looking. Going shopping again in March, so hopefully I will find "The One". Good luck with everything, looking forward to sharing planning with you
