Hey, Has anyone been to Vegas lately for a weekend trip? If so what is a good deal for flight and air from Calgary?

I am getting married in a year ( feb 2012) and I find that staying motivated is the hardest thing. When the scale goes down and up all the time it is so frustrating. I am working out 4 times a week with the "Wii active 2" video game, which is actually pretty good. I find that I get sore ankles from all the running on the spot but I just rest up for a day or so and get back to it. I have lost about 4-5 pounds in just over a month. So hopefully the scale keeps going down!

We are getting married Feb 2012 at Dreams Puerto Vallarta and I have looked into booking. I received one quote only from Air Canada and it was so expensive even including the early booking bonus, so I am waiting until the prices become available online and they are forced to be competitive. I have researched the cost for a couple years now for our resort, so I know what the prices should be around. West jet prices are supposed to come out late march, early April. I think they said they honor early booking bonuses until September.

Those are awesome, thanks for posting. I like the vests on the groomsmen but my Fiance doesn't. We have one groomsmen who has a bit of a tummy on him and he thinks he will look dumb with a vest on...what do you guys think?

We decided that trying to carry everything home on the plane would be hard to keep all the sand from shifting, so as an alternative I think we are going to buy the frame sand ceremony and do it on our 1 year wedding anniversary at home. This way we have a nice keepsake without all the hassle. What do you think?

Thanks That makes me feel better. I figure they are out to lunch with these prices because if you look them up for now for any month they are not even close to this price. Guess I will just have to wait and see what happens when the prices come out online.

Hey, Our wedding isn't until Feb 2012 but I had a travel agent look into prices just to see right now. Well the quotes are crazy high in my opinion. We are getting married at Dreams PV and our quote from Air Canada for a basic room was $1935 per person, that is with the early booking bonus price. Without the early booking bonus price it is about $2500 per person for a basic room for 1 week. This is so expensive, I am really hoping that once the prices come online for February that they will be cheaper than this. I have been to Mexico 4 times and I have never paid this much. OMG, kinda freakin out a little. I am starting to think that "Group Booking" is NOT the way to go.
