  9. Hi Ashley! Congrats! In Mexico I like Playa del Carmen and Tulum, I think that Tulum has the most beautiful beaches in the world. and you have the Cenotes, that are great places for your trash. Please check this pictures from the Dorado Royale:
  10. Hi congrats for your wedding! I am certainly not an expert on Jamaica, i have no doubt that is a great place. But I feel that Mexico as the great country that it is, could offer to you a more developed infrastructure. And certainly you can breathe in Cancun and the Riviera Maya first world air. So many people from around the world makes you feel as in home. If I had to take the desition definitely would do my wedding at the Riviera. Gonzalo
  11. Congrats!! happy planning! PV great place for surfing! enjoy the place! Gonzalo
  12. The two options are great, but as JR14 said, and I agree:
  13. The computer is a tool. There is no difference with the phone for example. Maybe you can talk to the closest members of your family first. But my experience is that once you change your status on FB, people begin to congratulate you immediately, regardless of whether it was by phone, computer or directly that you informed them about your engagement. Another thing, FB is a great tool for the people that is helping you with your wedding (say wedding coordinators, photographers,...). It approach to them in a fabulous way. It helps you to get a closer relationship with them at the moment of your wedding. Gonzalo
  14. Usually the invitations are sent one month in advance. What you can do once you know the wedding date, is letting them know your progress, maybe make a website, and go "remembering" by this via to the people that your wedding is coming... Gonzalo
  15. All opinions are valid. But have you tried talking to him? Perhaps he would feel honored by the request and your relationship can be renewed. But at the end of the day do what makes you happier. It's your day.
  16. Yes, I love Buenos Aires, I lived there for 10 years, great place! But I´ve found in South of Mexico a magical place to live. Mayan people did know this... Try Palenque in Chiapas for instance, wow, walk trough the ruins without shoes and feel the power of the earth,.. I am having two weddings in Palenque for 2011... wow! Gonzalo
  17. Hi Samfina! congrats! you are in a good time for planning your wedding! Have success!! Gonzalo
  18. welcome!! Helping people unconditionally is a great virtue. Thank you a lot for being a part of this! Gonzalo
  19. thanks Conosur for the contribution! I found very interesting. Are you from Argentina? I was born in Patagonia your picture seems to be Los Andes.. Gonzalo
  20. thanks Dafne! I really enjoyed being at your wedding! lot of clicks and lot of fun!! Gonzalo
  21. Another important point: These days Latinoamerican photographers, have nothing to ask to photographers from around the world. We are constantly preparing, learning and improving ourselves every day. Thank you for your trust. Gonzalo
  22. I agree with Elizabeth. Thank you for your point of view!! Thank you jystar!! Gonzalo
  23. Hi Tracy! congrats! First start choosing a date. One year from now would you give some time to prepare yourself and your guests.. Second, choose your ideal place.. Did you say Riviera? JStart navigating trough the forum looking for the best resort that would meet your necessities.. from there… maybe a coordinator, the music, the photos… sometimes some brides start choosing the photos, the music, haha.. I can tell you that pictures last forever, take special care on them!! Greetings! Gonzalo Nunez
