Don't get discouraged! Do level 1 - Jillian has 1 of the girls in the video doing modified moves in case it's too much for you initially, but you'll definitely get there if you keep it up! Thanks Karen! I am going to alternate my C25K with 30 day Shred starting tomrrow... My goal is to hopefully do both in the same day and still be able to walk!!
  9. OH Laura!!! Thank you so much for your review! I didn't realize how wound up I was until I started to relax from reading your EXTENSIVE review!! Congratulations!

  11. last summer my boyfriend and i were TTC. We just figured we could get married anytime and there was no rush to spend that much money on one day. Well, around Thanksgiving both of our mom's told us that they'd pay for our wedding so we had to stop trying or else we couldn't get married in the summer in Mexico! I've been off of my bc since september we've had to be sooo careful but we're going to start trying again in June! Hopefully with me being off my bc for a year it will be a lot easier to conceive. I teach in a school district with no maternity leave and we're really trying to time the baby for next summer but who knows... these things aren't really up to us, are they?

I just finished reading "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer...It started off really weird. I was a little worried at first..haha..But it turned out pretty good. Nothing compared to Twilight, but I can see her doing a sequel and it being even better OOOH, Sookie Stackhouse books are so much fun! I'm a fast reader and I would finish one in a day and a half then go around town like a crack addict trying to track down the next book! I suggest get a few at a time!! I havent read the one that was hardcover last summer... i draw the line at paying double digits for a book that I can't take to the pool!
  13. I had read this thread a few days ago and was debating on whether I should get it or not.... whether i should wait until I'm out of school or done with TAKS testing... etc... But when I was leaving Walmart today I walked past the athletic wear section and there it was! Like a sign of some sort and it was only $9 so I got it!! I'll start it tomorrow but I'm worried about the weights because all I have are 5lbs and I've read that might be too much! Does anyone have any tips for me before I begin? I'm worried I'll get discouraged and turn the tv off!!

My big peeve is that he thinks laundry is done when the dryer is finished. He NEVER folds/puts away anything. Last weekend I spent all day Sat re-drying (to get out the wrinkles), folding and putting away clothes. He also doesn't understand that bras and underwear are washed separately on the delicate cycle and NOT dried. My undies end up in knots and ruined!! But he is GREAT and other than that I wouldn't change much. He has been really helpful with all the wedding planning. I have to watch what he wants to put in the OOT bags, he keeps adding to the list, he is very generous (which is GREAT)! OMG! my FI is the same about the laundry... when he does it. I'm pickier about what goes in the washer and dryer together. He just hangs all his shirts and jeans but doesn't bother to think about mine! Also, he will keep "doing laundry" but just pile the clothes out of the drier into the couch!!

I've attached it for you - it's a powerpoint so you can easily customize it for yourselves. Is your hotel charging you for them putting the newsletters under the door? I've heard that sometimes they won't do these types of things if it's a big resort...
  17. week 2 day 1 of Couch to 5K... today one of my colleagues (who doesn't know I'm getting married) said "You look like you're slimming down!" oh yea!!

  21. I think if you just give your guests an idea of what y'all are doing each day and leave it open for company it'll be just fine. Some people might want to do stuff with you while others might just want to lay on the beach and veg out. I think it's important to remember that for some, this is a vacation with a wedding. Not a wedding with a vacation.
