I don't want to pay 5/chair to rent or whatever it is.. yikes.

I think i'm going to buy chair sashes and table linens to take down there with me.. What colors are you doing for your wedding?

  4. Beautiful dress! Definitely not too plain in my opinion at all

  6. Congrats and welcome to BDW - you'll find lots of great information here to help you in your wedding planning journey
  7. Sorry to hear that things were cancelled - it will get better in time and everything happens for a reason. Best of luck to you!
  8. I would start now so that you get your preferred date @ the resort you want and can get all the details worked out so that your not in such a panic Also I don't think it's too early to send out STD's to all your guests - most people want lots of time to save money, plan their vacations etc. so if I was you I would do them as soon as possible once you get some of the details figured out!
  9. Welcome and Congrats! I can't really help you out as we are getting married at a Dreams resort but yes I'm pretty sure that Sandals resorts do not allow children so that could be a problem, it's definitely hard to find a balance between a kid friendly resort and one that is over-run with children. Good Luck!!
  10. I know I can't believe how much they mark everything up it is ridiculous!!! Personally I like the idea of making my own album that way it is more personalized to Bryan and I. Also I am very detail oriented and picky so I don't think someone else could stand to do an album for me hahaha

Alrighty, so I wont go into recapping all her prices – let me know if you need more info. and I can post her price list here, but basically for wedding day coverage for 6 hours the price tag is USD 4,750, for 8 hours it is USD 5,250, 10 hours it is USD 5,750. With all these you get a copy of all the pictures taken, we went with 8 hours and also will get 550 pictured edited – that is included. E M then basically has a # of packages, the one we went with is the 8 hours, plus 2 hours on a separate day, that is what we will be using for our TTD session. That option is USD 6,700. The things that I am struggling with the most and maybe you ladies can help me out on this one, and weigh in, is the wedding album. For E M the wedding album, 30 pages that 12” by 12” is USD 2,250 which in my opinion is just crazy, maybe I am naïve but I expected it to be like one tenth of the cost. Boo- WOW 2,250 USD? In my opinion I suggest looking into making your own Photo Album using Picaboo or another Photo Album Creator - You can order Flush Mount Albums through Picaboo starting at $349 with 20 pages and can expand up to 90 pages (extra pages range from 10-14$). The Albums come in 5 different colors and in two different sizes 11 x 14 or 8.5 x 11 - This way you can purchase albums for yourself, and for both sets of parents and still have paid less than what you would have through the photographer. I plan on doing this with our wedding pictures - wayyyyy cheaper and you get to design it, plus they ship to Canada Wedding Photo Albums | Picaboo Photo Books | Picaboo

I've looked at a few sites so far that I've seen mentioned on here for the real touch flowers - one is Sharon Nagassar Designs and I think the other one is somebody named Shauvon?? I thought I bookmarked it but I can't find it! I'm a big garden lover so I really want real flowers, and flowers for my centerpieces. So I thought I could compromise if the real flower cost was outrageous and do realistic looking fake flowers for my centerpieces & real for the bouquets. Or would that be tacky? On the plus side... my TA has FINALLY heard back from Ana!!! YAY!!!!! Very Pretty dress!!! Yeah I also love real flowers but I don't know if we'll want to spend that much money on bouquets if I can't get it preserved after since we'll be down in RM for 2 weeks! So I might go the real touch route.. it seems to be a popular choice on this site.. hmm I don't think that would be tacky - most people won't even notice especially if they are real touch! and you're so lucky - I wonder when she'll reply to mine!!

I feel like I've been waiting forever for her to respond! Also, does anyone know if we are allowed to use fake flowers for the bridesmaid boquets? Chelsey - I think you can use any kind of flowers you want to - if you wanted to use fake you would have to bring them with you though!
