I am still not sure what we are doing about a photographer and the wedding is in 4 months! I think we will go with one of the resort photographers because I have family members that are professionals as well, I just didn't want them to miss out on the entire party taking pics, however they will take pictures of the two of us after the ceremony because those are the most important to me.
The pictures from the wedding "Patrick & Kelly" are taken by Adventure Photos, the resorts in house photographer. I really like their pictures that I have seen on facebook of the families on the beach, I am just worried because taking family pictures and taking wedding pictures are two totally different things! I think I might just stay with Juan because he has a lot of experience with weddings, and a friend of mine just used him at Dreams Cancun and the pics were amazing.
I know a lot of brides spend the majority of their budget on photos, but this has always worried me because the best photographers still might not do a great job. My sister had a very well known photographer (and very expensive photographer) shoot her wedding and the pictures turned out horrible!!! Even though all the pics on their website were amazing, hers just did not turn out well at all. I am worried about investing so much money into a photographer and they might turn out bad anyway!!! Thanks ebernard! I'm not sure what I'm going to do about a photographer either, just because you spend more money doesn't always guarantee a better/experience or better pictures like you said. Anyone booking with Sweet Caribbean or are they no longer one of the 'allowed' photographers?
