  6. Ok so I am a little miffed with gianinarbridal. Well actually alot miffed. After being told they couldn't make my linen and lace dress because it was not possible for them to get linen it would cost like $400 I switched. I had found a tornai which though I don't like her style looked very nice on me. (There is a bride here in florida that was selling hers for $5000 I told her I wouldn't buy it but she convinced me to at least try it on). When I wrote to gianinar they said the dress would cost $150 and $59 for shipping. While in the bridal salon yesterday I tried on a Jorge Manuel which was gorgeous. So bad girl on my part I wrote gianinar to switch (mind you I have not sent my measurements as yet just my $80 deposit and pictures of the tornai). Well I was more than bummed out and a little upset when they said the Jorge Manuel dress would cost $300?!?!? I am so confused. She said the tornai is a simple dress and because the Jorge Manuel has applique it will cost more. Can you ladies please look at the pictures and tell me if I am crazy. The tornai is the one with the sweetheart top while the Jorge Manuel is the champagne colored dress. Which dress looks more simple? The tornai is first and then the Jorge Manuel
  7. Can I please be put on someone's blue starfish list.....anyone? Travel dates Nov. 10-15th 2010 with wedding being on Nov. 13th.....anyone?

  10. I have to agree with sungoddess, it looks like she is willing to make a step in the right direction and see beyond her own feelings and recognize that this occassion is about you and her sharing in it positively and supporting you is more important than a present squabble with the MOH. Test the waters prior to your wedding and see what is right for you. My fiance was all too happy when one of my BMs backed out because she is known for drama. Make sure that you and FI are the focus on wedding day and not any underlying murmur of an old disagreement between them or any other drama for that matter. Good luck!
  11. Those look real, wow I had to keep examining them, can't believe they are real touch. Wow! Looks good!

  18. Oh wow Janelly thanks for putting that in order I was trying to catch up and see where things were at but your post put me right on track. I was/am hoping to borrow the blue starish for my wedding Nov. 13th. I know someone else has requested for my date as well but since there seems to be more than one blue hopefully I can get in on the second one. My travel dates are Nov. 10th through 15th, please let me know if I am able to get in on one of the blue ones. (I am going with blue since it covers the something borrowed and something blue) :-)
  19. Your mugs look fantastic. I am ordering my water bottles from discountmugs I can't wait. I love the color as well....purple/plum is one of my wedding colors!!

  23. I tried doing a search to see if that site had been used in the past but nothing came up. I would google and see what kind of reviews you get on the site. The dress is beautiful! Good luck!
  24. I have to agree with most of the ladies, you look beautiful in both but something about the Destiny screams that it was made for you. I went shopping for my dress alone, partially because I want it to be a dress I love sans the opinions. I hope whichever you choose, you choose it because you love it and it speaks to you. Good luck!
