  4. I tried doing the same as Jacqui (resizing my monogram to use as my avatar but I keep getting invalid file). I have tried using each of the links that photobucket provides. Help!
  5. So I just couldn't wait to show it off. Rebecca (Allurements by Rebecca) worked so hard on this and I am in love with it. I had quite a few made previously but wasn't in love with them. This one I am absolutely, head over heels in love. THANKS REBECCA!!!!! What do you think ladies?

My band(s) are identical to the band on the E ring, I put band(s) because I asked Fi for 2 because with one it just looks like I still have 1 ring on (I think the band is somewhat thin)...I havent seen them but I know the are in the house somewhere.....(I hope). Do u have your band? Hi MysTea we sure are sista's from another mother. I do have my band, I need to post a pic of it. Its an eternity band. I think I will be moving my e-ring over to my right hand once we get married though and just wear my wedding band by itself. Its all very blingy together and I just don't want the two to rub. My accent stones are round and my center stone is also princess cut, on a platinum band. I do have to star shaped pink diamonds front facing and back facing on the band of my e-ring. I'll try to post of pic of my wedding band soon.
  7. Congrats and welcome to the forum. Happy planning!

  9. Its hard they are both cute. I think maybe one cause you can see your faces, but 2 is adorable. Ok I know I'm not helping. My vote is for 1.
  10. They came out beautifully and look professionally done. Your hard work was worth it. Love the transparent overlay.
  11. I love your shoes! Great planning thread. Thanks for sharing and I know you're gonna have a wonderful wedding.

  13. Hi Maggie, congrats and welcome to the forum. Happy planning!
  14. Hey Nicole, my suggestions is take your invitations already finished and sealed (take at least two) to the post office and have them weigh it and measure it and have them tell you what postage you need (for safe measure you can even go to a different post office and get a second opinion, honestly you shouldn't need one but with the nightmares people go through, why risk it). I actually met a guy tonight who went to the post office to buy 250 stamps for the invitations for him and his fiance and he was sitting next to us at dinner complaining that all their invitations were returned cause they had the wrong postage. Can you imagine getting 250 invitations back? I would die. Anyway, on another note I typed my addresses. I am crazy at everything being perfect and I don't like my own handwriting so I typed everything up. I say if you have great handwriting and don't mind writing them all out...go for it!!! I can't wait to post pics!
  15. I plan on wearing a garter but we won't be doing the garter removal or bouquet toss.
  16. Congrats and welcome to the forum. Happy planning!
  17. Thanks for sharing your experience Angela. I intend on ordering from them in September once I have a final count of who will be attending. I am hoping that ordering in September for my November wedding will be enough time.
  18. So the saga continues. I took my invitations to the post office 23miles away today where I bought the stamps yesterday only to be told that I didn't have the correct amount of postage and the witch at the other post office told me the wrong amount. Its my fault I should have taken the invites to this post office yesterday when I bought the stamps but the other lady had measured it and I didn't think to bring them. So I bought66 more stamps and I put them on tonight and I will be sending them in the morning. Lord please let me just get these invitations out already.
  19. Michelle I can't help you because I am not marrying at Beaches but I would say to double check that the Govt fees are not covered for weddings held in May, Sept and Oct (sounds very fishy). As you can see there are quite a few ladies who got married in May and it was covered. I know Chrissy's (Girasole) wedding was also small only about 10 people. You may want to also pm *Meagan* and a few other ladies who got married there since they will be able to help. Good luck and I hope it all works out! It may not be the cheapest but you can be assured that the Turks & Caicos is one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean to get married!
  20. Hey Jenna, I wanted to check back in. Glad to see that things have turned around and you guys are doing better. With a child involved I can understand both of your needs to solidify the union but don't worry it will happen at the right time and on time. Good luck!

  22. I actually got BKT last year. I got one with no formaldahyde. I liked it alot. You do get it done over your relaxer/perm and it lasted about 4-5months. It mademy hair more manageable (I never wash my own hair at home because to blow dry it out after is a nightmare, with BKT I was able to wash and go...it would dry semi straight and if I needed to I would use a flat iron or blow dryer for the sleek look). For the most part I did it cause it is so humid in Miami that during the summer it is impossible to go out and keep you hair looking great without a lot of hairspray or mousse or something and since I hate using hair products (it weighs my hair down and irritates my acne) I opted for BKT. I won't be getting it done prior to my wedding because I know just how straight it leaves my hair from prior experience and I am opting for curls in my hair for my wedding, and curls already fall out easily so I know with the BKT in it won't stay at all. Of course this all depends on your hair type too. My friend did her'sthe same time as me. She has a slightly different texture to her hair and though the BKT made her hair smooth and silky she felt hers wasn't as straight as mine, hers more kept from frizzing but she was still able to hold curls.
