    This is my ring. I cannot get a great picture of it right now so here's another one. I'm trying to decide if I want to get a small pave set "wedding band" to go with it in rose gold with pink diamonds. Help!

    ACH2009, Did you get a wedding band to go with this or leave it as is? I'm just curious because I have the ring similar to this with the rose gold center band and the pink diamonds. Cannot decide what to do!

    It is nice to read good things about ROR because some of the nasty things you read on here. I know there are issues at almost every resort. There will always be someone who is not happy. It's Jamaica and people should sometimes not worry so much.

    What was Maureen's reply - notarized copies of the originals or notarized originals? My TA said that most places accept a photocopy of the original that is notarized as an exact copy of the original. The word copies is a bit confusing. I'm going to have to be sending mine soon too.

    Did everyone get their frame from the same place? I'd love to see where others purchased theirs from.

    I would love to see a photo of the finished product. If anyone has one, would you mind pasting in here so we can view? I love the idea so much more than just a vase filled with sand. Now for the hunt to find the frame. I've got two kids who will also be participating so we will most likely have 4 similar colors so it's not tacky looking. Theresa

    We are having our AHR at 7pm and plan on having BBQ along with a few other things. With this being my second marriage, I didn't care if we had an AHR or not but my fiance has never been married and definitely wanted a "party" to celebrate with those who cannot go to Jamaica with us, which is around 120 or so. It's definitely not going to be formal but I want a nice beach theme and don't want it to be tacky.

    We are doing the caricature drawing. We already had it done and he placed us on the beach. We absolutely love it and are planning on going to Kinkos to have it enlarged with a border/frame for signing. I don't want the original drawn on as I have seen what can happen to photos if they are left out too long at a reception. We are only have 15 in Jamaica with us so I really hadn't thought a whole lot about a guest book for there. Guess I could take a small white board to jamaica and take pics of the guest with it on the beach.

    Our AHR is April 30th, 8 days after we return from Jamaica. I'm a bit concerned about having enough time for it since it is really what requires more planning than the wedding itself. Especially with pictures for a slide show etc... If we didn't do it then, we would have had to wait until July and we personally felt that was too long. We wanted to keep the wedding theme going and then it will be done and over with.

    Well the attachment didn't work in the previous post so here is my dress. Like I said, not your typical wedding dress but it fits good and is very comfortable.

    OK ladies, I need help with figuring out what shoes to wear for the ceremony. This is my dress. It's not your typical wedding dress but this is my second wedding so I wanted something much more simple and light. Cannot decide if I should attempt to get ivory flip flops of some sort or go with the barefoot jewelry. Whatever I do, it will be very visible since the dress is short. My colors are turquoise and orange/coral. I hope the picture acually posts when I submit this!

    Lovely review - Thanks so much! I'm getting married there 4/16/11 and can't wait. I've been communicating with Michael since May of this year about the photography and he seems very easy to work with. Are the flowers you are holding the ones with the free package? If so, they are different than the ones I've seen before but I really like them.

    Hello Gals, I haven't been on here in quite a while so I guess it's time to start reading this thread now and get to work on a few things. I'm an April 16th RIU Ocho Rios bride. Can't wait to filter through all of these posts. I've got to get my invitations printed and mailed out in January for both the wedding and the AHR on April 30th.
