I also have Suzanna as a WC. She sometimes takes a very long time to respond. I have found the best way to get it is to call and stay on the phone with her while she sends it. I have done this more than once with her on stuff. She is super friendly, just overwhelmed I think. She told me one day she would send me my checklist right as we got off the phone. I didn't receive it within 20 minutes, so I called back and she sent it "again" while we were on the phone. I don't know if she gets distracted or what the deal is. But she even told me that if we just stay on the phone while she sends everything I am asking for, then she can avoid getting interrupted. Also, the checklists differ by package. I changed the package that I had signed up for, so now I got a new checklist. If you tell us your package, maybe we can help you out.

Does anyone have any advice on where to find cute custom made maracas? I love the ones by Mishka that so many have raved about, however with the shipping it gets really expensive. I only need about 35 for my May wedding in Playa del Carmen. Mishka will charge an additional $60 in shipping beyond the $4.50 price for each maraca (that includes 2 lines of text). Any advice would be great!

I was thinking that somebody had written earlier in this thread that single stem roses were like $15 or something. Don't quote me on that, but I believe it was $10 - $20.

Same thing happened to us. We expected like 10 people, now we have 30 to 35 coming. Everything has been made larger. We had thought we'd do a small destination wedding, then a party when we get back. Well the "party" has now turned into a full-blown reception with 300+ people. It will be fun, but now I feel as though I'm planning 2 weddings. I need 2 meals, 2 photographers, 2 djs, 2 kinds of centerpieces, etc. It will be fun in the end, but gosh this is stressful!

That sounds like a great idea for a rehearsal dinner. My MIL wants a rehearsal dinner, it doesn't really matter much to me. But I am just not crazy about having to choose from the same meal for the wedding and rehearsal. This would be a great option! I will have to tell her about it. I really love the Phillipa! It is so beautiful. I would probably make it into a sweetheart neckline, but that's just me. I am also from Omaha and getting married in the Riviera Maya in May! I've seen quite a few Omaha brides on here. I think we are all trying to think warm thoughts and get out of this snow!

I can't wait for people to start putting up reviews of them. I have also booked Adrian for my wedding day. I did all of my correspondence with Victor. He is also willing to negotiate on the deposit. I thought the 50% was pretty steep up front, then he wanted full payment 5 days before the wedding. I paid 30% up front and am paying the balance on the wedding day. I really like their photos, so I hope they turn out good for everyone!
