Our TA told us that we could still get the free cocktail hour if we booked through her. We found that some of the internet discount sites were less expensive than TA prices so they agreed to match the sites whenever they were cheaper, but then we had to forgo the cocktail hour. So we won't be getting it.

    Hola

  14. Hi Tania! You should check out the Feb brides 2010 forum!! Good luck with your planning!
  15. Our wedding is in February and AHR in March... 6 months before- get engaged 5 months before- book resort, AHR venue, photographer for e-pics and AHR pics, book DJ for AHR, order STD/invites, informed everyone of plan for DW 4.5 month- discover the BDW forum and have minor panic attack due to other brides preparedness, get e-pics taken 4 months- send out STD for reception/invites for ceremony, book acoustic guitarist for AHR, order dress (have to pay a rush fee because I waited so long and am getting it back 3 weeks before we leave for Mexico and still have to do two "fittings"...I do not recommend waiting this long. haha.) 3.5 months- book cake lady for AHR, have wedding band designed, register 3 months- projected...order invites for AHR, figure out OOT bags, centerpieces for AHR, talk to WC at MP to start the ceremony and private function planning, FI wedding attire and band, figure flowers out, music for ceremony 2 months- projected...gifts for parents and cookie makers (Italian and aunts make Italian cookies for AHR), shoes, jewelry. 1 month- send out invites for AHR (2 months before AHR), get dress I actually just made my "to do list" a couple of days ago so hoping to cross more things off soon!
  16. Brooke- 99 days....yea!! I've been excited this whole time, but for some reason this week when it hit 100 days I all of a sudden am stoked!!!! Haha! Enjoy your day of shopping...I wish I was doing the same! SusieQ- yeah the boat definitely would have been the deal breaker for me. That's funny. I was reading on the forum about ceremony songs and uploaded a handful to my iPod so that I could listen to them on my way to work...big mistake. Bawled the whole way to work..."This song is totally US!" One after the other after the other. Got to work and looked in the mirror and my eyes were red and puffy...I looked like crap. Bad idea.
  17. I definitely don't think you look like a hot mess in #1. I think that it's a beautiful dress. but dress #2 is GORGEOUS!!! i love, love it!! You look amazing in it!! I think you should pick one and go with it. Both are wonderful choices. No need to stress about this! You should be having FUN!!
  18. I am a dentist and like people said, both work, but in my opinion if you have the time and are concerned with the cost get the trays instead. You can keep them for years and continue to do "touch-ups." You'll get the same great result. Also...for those of you complaining of the "white" spots...they will most likely settle down and not be so bright or you can bleach more to help even everything out. This is another advantage of getting trays instead...you don't have to go in and go through the whole procedure again and you can just put them in a few more nights. If any of you are in the KC area PM me and I'll give you a break on the trays!! I promise this is not a ploy to get new patients, just trying to help.
  19. Congrats, Alison!!! Happy planning!
  20. Congratulations!!! Vegas wedding in March sounds PERFECT!! Good luck planning!

So I'm not sure how to really tell what the true color is. I don't want to get stuck with a color that doesn't match at all. My second choice was just to go with a lighter pink that might be more nuetral anyway - PA-031. Or I could just skip the wedding colors and do white. I think I'd prefer to do a color - just not sure which one. Decisions, decisions.... I sent Joseph a message a couple of weeks ago regarding the colors and this was his response, hope it helps a little... "Originally Posted by TonyandTricia Hello Joseph, I have a couple of questions for you...I will be ordering 25 to 30 scarfs with the group order. I am wanting a variety of colors. Some of the colors are a little hard for me to make out on the website. For example, what's the difference between P-017 and P-019. I want a variety of bright colors. Could you tell me some of your best sellers? or give me recommendations? Thanks! Tricia Hi Tricia. To get a faster response you might be better off emailing me at [email protected] As far as the 2 colors mentioned, the 19 is more fuchsia/hot pink. It is definitely brighter than number 017, and it is also one of the best sellers. As for best sellers, all of the purple shades are going really well, and the silver number pa-028 is a big seller. For solids, numbers 35, 25, 13, 24 have also been big sellers. It seems like almost every order these days includes number 13. If you have any other questions just let me know. "
  22. I consulted a few people as well and the general opinion was that you are at a beach wedding...bright colors and fun and go with the whole tropical atmosphere. Also, I think it would look great to take a group photo of all of the ladies with a bunch of bright colors. I figure they could always pair them with jeans and a black shirt back home. Here's a picture of a friend of mine...blurred their faces because I feel bad for putting their pic up here without their permission Her boss gave them all different colored scarfs and I just think it looks fun so I decided to go with it!
