Hi, we are getting married at the gran bahia principe in runaway bay, not a sandals resort. We did look at sandals resorts but they were so expensive. Â Havent been to Jamaica before, and ive heard the people are lovely. Cant wait!

I dont normally wear much jewellery, mainly because my jobs over the years havent allowed it and so i havent bothered in my own time either. I think i will go with what i and the majority of you have said and not wear a necklace.

Some people really do make a mountain out of a mole hill though dont they. If someone told me they were having a DW id be like oh wow that will be so nice, not oh why are you doing that then. Â And to Mochamakes, dont you just love MIL's, full of their own opinion. Mind you my own mother gets abit like that too as she gets older lol. MOTHERS HEY hahaha

Saying that my mum didnt ask me what i wanted her to wear, she just bought something and then showed me the picture. She lives in spain though so we couldnt of had a shopping spree together, had she still lived in the uk i think we may have gone out together and found something we both liked. I do like what she has chosen though, thank god!

Thats a nice idea to have your mum and dad give you away. I might do that actually cos its nice for them to both have a role. and they BOTH did make you after all lol

We have been together for 9 years and lived together for 4 of those years, i think we know each other enough to start TTC right away. However, i think my period is due around my wedding night so i have been in 2 minds whether to let it come or put it off with a short term pill from the doctor. I am aware i may not fall pregnant straight away, but would still like to start trying as soon as we wed!

Well i cant really comment cos im not married yet, but i know we plan to have it on the night. I think my FI will be rather dissappointed if we dont cos i am usually the one to be too tired or not be able to due to alcohol and feeling sick lol. Â Fingers crossed, we only have a small wedding party so i shouldn't get too drunk..should i??

My dog is going into kennels for 3 weeks! A loooonnnnng time, bless her. She has been there before though and seems to like it so i am sure she will be ok. Â Trouble is for this particular kennels she has to have the kennel cough vaccine, which is a squirt up the nose and she really doesnt appreciate it. She had to be sedated cos the vet just couldnt get the liquid up her nose without a fight. My poor little poochy! :-(

My Fi is also wearing a white suit and we cannot find shoes that would go with it anywhere. He doesnt want to wear flip flops or mens sandals. I was thinking like a light tanned colour loafers or something, just cannot find any to go with a white suit. Found some white/ivory coloured shoes but with a white suit it just looks too WHITE! lol  If anyone knows of any decent UK websites please let me know. I say uk only because we leave for Jamaica in 2 weeks and so we need short delivery times on items for the wedding.

I would say you need to crack on if you have 6 months left. It seems like a long time, but that is when it starts to fly by. My trouble i have is i have just over 2 weeks to go and i am rather swiftly running out of money. I do have most things, but just wish that i had started buying earlier so i have more money left for the odd bits and bobs that i see and like. Â With regards to someone giving you away, in my opinion i would go with someone from your immediate family. The idea of your BIL giving you away is nice if you get on well, but hes not an original part of your family if you see what i mean. I think go with your sister, she can just wear something really pretty, doesnt matter what really but you choose it. OR go with your nephew, but only if hes at the right age, dont want a littlen walking you down the aisle lol
