  1. So you think wedding window is worth the $$ . . . that's they way I'm leaning. Funny how all of us immediately go to "The Proposal" I got a tear too . . . .
  2. I was thinking I might do wedding window . . . it costs . . but you get more options and control.
  3. Wow - what to do . . . I hate being pushy . . . and I guess I'm kinda a thinking if you say no once why would you change your mind. I just don't want to completely blow my bugdet because other's can't decide!
  4. This is the route I'm planning on going as well! I'm just gonna paste my monogram into a word doc and print the postcards myself for the few (3) that I need to send.

There are other things included in the packages as well. I have a list of the packages and prices and what they include if you want a copy let me know. I believe you can also do it a la carte, but I don't know the prices if you do it that way right now. Hope this helps. Thanks! THis is helpful!
  6. The process to figure out exactly what your options are and what they are going to cost is very frustrating to me. Any past GP brides that can shead some light on this out there? I would need a private reception for over 40 ppl. How much did your receptions cost you? How many people and where did you have them? Thanks in advance!
  7. These are not in Cancun, but south. Dreams Tulum has a small wedding chappel and does Catholic Ceremonies, but is quite a ways from Cancun. The Grand Palladium Resorts in Riviera Maya have a new Chappel, that does Catholic Weddings, bigger than Dreams Tulum, and it is very open as in the sides are almost nonexsistent, but I don't think it has an ocean view. Main Wedding Page. At the top of that page there's a view the new chappel link. If you can't get the link to work google Palladium Addicts - and you should find the site. I know of NO locations where you can have a catholic ceremony outdoors.

We've been to the Grand Palladium so we know exactly what to expect there, had a great time would be a superb place! but . . . I think our pick will bethe new Dreams Riviera Cancun that opens October 1, but I'm double checking pricing. It's a smaller than GP and not so far south from Cancun. It's just so hard to decide!
  9. I've also read . . . I think somewhere on this site, that if they are people on your "must have" list, it's ok for you to pay for them to come . . . . if you can!
  10. Megan24 - What beach pictures were you looking at? I'd love to see them! One thing I try to keep in mind is time of year - if it's Huricane season the water is rougher, stirring up stuff off the bottom, making the water more dark blue and cloudy than Aqua and clear . . .
  11. We got engaged on Maroma Beach and it is absolutely beautiful! If we didn't need a resort for kiddos I would totally pick one at Maroma!
  12. Aventura Spa and Cove Palace were highest on my list . . . until I got a better feeling for the 'beach' which is really more of a lagoon dug into a reef . . . not the real beach I was looking forward to worshiping the sun with an umbrella drink in my hand on! You can google earth the resort and get what I thought was the best idea of it.
