Hi there. I booked DeJa Vu for our Cabo wedding in June. I met Joaquin in June and he was very accomodating. Him and his band have a long list of songs (Spanish & English) and said that if we wanted songs that his band did not know, to give him a playlist ahead of time and they would learn them for th wedding day. I have seen him briefly other bride's videos and it seems like people are always having fun and on the dance floor when they are playing. Good luck. Im sorry, but maybe I'm just too selfish.....I don't care if it's two, three, four, or five days after my wedding, I would NOT be ok with sharing OUR MOMENT with someone else who has already been married for ten years! Personally, i think it was so wrong of her to even consider asking you in the first place! What was she thinking!!!!!!? Now, if her and her husband want to have a ceremony just for themselves (which I think is more appropriate) and it does not involve incuding your guests or anything like it, then yes she is free to do whatever she wants while she is there, since she day pay for her own trip. But anything that involves SHARING your week or your moment would be definitely out of the question for me! GOOD LUCK )

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Are the Sheraton giving you good room rates even though you are having the reception at the golf club? Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated! Victoria Hi Victoria! Thanks for the compliments ) Yes, we did see their ballroom and it is gorgeous! Since we are only having the "after party" at the sheraton we opted to go with one of the smaller banquet rooms, which will be perfect for the lounge setting we have in mind. I would have had no problem havinf the entire wedding at the Sheraton, but one look at Cabo del Sol and we both fell in love with it! It's AMAZING! Yes, the Sheraton gave us three group rates of $145, $165, and $185. I hope this helps ) Go ahead and PM me if you have any other questions. Good luck with your planning ) -

I just wanted to give you all a heads up on the product, just to save time on questions you may have later... Our scarves are an acrylic blend. Most of my competitors (at prices higher and lower) generally use a viscose material. The acrylic fibers we use are far superior and offer a much better soft and luxurious "pashmina feel" while also having better colorfastness (meaning they hold their color better after long term use and washing) resistance to pilling (the fuzzies you get on fabric after it is washed) and it is much better for the environment. The heavier weight fabric we use is not noticable in pictures, but is definitely noticeble when felt and helps the scarf hold its shape and not snag like most of the cheap scarves on the web. Actually fabric weight is one of the sneaky ways a lot of factories use to cut costs. You can see a little more info about the acrylic fiber we use and the viscose used by a lot of competitors here: Acrylic fiber (what we use) Acrylic fiber - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia viscose (what lesser quality alternatives use) Viscose - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Don't want to get too spammy here so I will cut it at that, if there are any further questions just post them here Patti, just a heads up, your extra scarf was sent out the other day. And as for the other poster who mentioned the site being down, it was down the other day for an hour or so. We have seen a huge uptick in our traffic the last few days as the season has changed and with a lot of our newer customers hitting the site for reorders. But we were back up in short order after swapping out the mouse in the wheel inside my server, so all is running smoothly again! Thanks again and take care, Joseph PS, if any of you feel that you will be needing the scarves sooner than the expiration of the order, just email the girl running this group buy with what you want and when you need to have it by and I promise we will sort something out to take care of you. Wow!!!!!! Now that's customer service!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the info

As far as I know, you have to book ten rooms in order to have your wedding there and reception means traditional meal. It has a variety of diff options ranging from sandwiches like lunch to plated dinners. If you need more info, let me know. Good luck. Everyone I have talked to who knows Cabo well, loves the Sheraton Oh that's funny..Karla is my wedding planner as well. She is very easy to get along with. -

My Casa Dorada Wedding Review--Finally.

Ahhhhhhh CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you recall what Mi Tierra charged for the hour they played? -
Wow!!!! This is so incredibly tacky!!!!! Ewwwwww! It is my own personal opinion that if a couple feels compelled to ask for monitary gifts, then they should not be putting on such an elaborate wedding and should keep it simple and within their means. What a horrible idea to even "tell" guests what kind of gifts are acceptable! Although I always give gifts from registries, people should graciously accept whatever their guests can give them. I personally think that reading something like that on an invitation should be the first indication that the entire wedding might be tacky....personal experience! We indicated "no gifts please" on our reply cards, not the invitation itself.

Sheraton Hacienda contact info??

Viviana [email protected] or Oscar [email protected] are my contacts for the Sheraton. Viviana deals more with the contracts and Oscar is an actual wedding coordinator for the resort. -
What's your opinion of Edith's in Cabo?
liznsergio replied to Patti's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
We are having about 60 guests.....hence the shopping around for prices....it's like paying for 2 wedding receptions...LOL! Since our rehersal dinner will only be the bridal party, we are looking at having it either at Mi Casa or Las Golondrinas...both have an amazing ambiance. We will be there for seven days so we made recommendations on our website for just good ol' taco palces! There is Gardenias and Los Claros which have AMAZING shrimp tacos for like $1.50!!!!!! -

They had this boat boy (but really man) that was just getting everyone involved to party. We even have pictures of him dancing with my 80 year old mother. Too funny. How much are you having to pay now - if you don't mind me asking? Yes, I though the price was fabulous!!!! He is charging me $40/pp, but that includes the private boat, food, alcohol, and music!!!!!! Everywhere we have looked at the prices for food alone start at $40....so I think it's a great deal and I keep hearing about how fun it is!!! I can't wait! LOL...about your mom dancing....GOOD FOR HER ) -

We were hoping to do it again with our guests but was told the water is pretty chilly in December for snorkeling. We've actually been to Mi Casa several times and it's another favorite of ours I'm sure will hit that place while we're there. What part of Orange Co. are you from? My daughter and her family live in Huntington Beach and my future son-in-law and his family live in Irvine. We love Orange Co. Oh that's great to hear you had a BLAST on SUnRider. We have not been on the cruise, but will try it out in November when we go for our second site visit...I can't wait!!!!! We are in Orange, Ca....very close to Irvine & Huntington Beach ) -

liznsergio replied to Patti's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
Edith's is amazing!!!!!!!!!! We also wante dto have our Welcome Dinner there, but it's too expensive for 60 people, so I think we are going with the SunRider dinner cruise. Edith's would be great for a party of 11. You might also consider looking into Mi Casa....another fabulous restaurant with exquisite mexican food and great decor and ambiance. Other places to consider: Los Panchos, Mision de Kino, Las Golondrinas, Baja Cantina (on the beach). Good LucK! -
Hi Maritza! Welcome! I am having a June 2010 Cabo wedding @ Sheraton Hacienda del Mar & Cabo del Sol. I hired Karla Casillas as my wedding coordinator...she is great. NOt sure if Riu allows outside wedding coordinators though. Her prices range from $500-$2000 I believe. A Baja Romance Wedding... Outside photographers in Cabo!
liznsergio replied to ally&ben2010's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
Yeah I was told the same thing....something about a Visa Work Permit. When I told my US photog, he said there is no need for them to know he is working, all you have to say is that he is a GUEST at your wedding.
