There was a lot of beading and details that I didn't think they'd be able to do well, but it turned out beautiful. I just sent them a few pictures and they put the dress together for me, then sent me a picture of the final dress. I asked for the bottom to be taken in to give a more mermaid cut... they did that and then mailed it. The whole process took about 2 months.

Emme, I totally second the bug spray suggestion. We had our welcome dinner at the Akumal buffet and they opened the windows to cool things down, and everyone got eaten!!! We bought some of the bug spray at the resort store for like $10.... so yea... bring your own! I wish there was a "poke" action like on Facebook... Emme.... review!?! I can't wait!!

There are plenty of great resorts in the Mayan Riviera/Cancun area! We had our wedding at the Bahia Principe and had a great time! Congrats on your engagement!

omg Jennifer! Your details look fabulous! Love love love your dress, shoes, OOT bags, welcome dinner dress etc. The save the date cards look so great. Even if you get other shoes to go with your wedding dress, bring the flat sandals for the reception or for photos out on rocks and in the sand and stuff.
