  1. I am wearing no shoes, heels and sand don't mix. He's 6ft and I'm 5ft 4.
  2. Riu Montego Bay May 8 2010. The pools look really nice. And I bet everyone will want to hang out at the pool bar anyway.
  3. I don't think you should risk it. I think you are only allowed 3 oz bottles of personal products in your carry ons. Check with your airline. Maybe you can bring it in the checked bags. Myabe you could print the labels at home then buy hotsauce in Mexico.
  4. I like them. I am thinking about getting glass starfish ones. I got a bottle stopper at a wedding and use it all the time.
  5. yeah, I think if they said no, then they are not expecting a invite. why wast money. It may seem pushy to send invites to people who said no.
  6. Hey ladies, I am not a crafty person but I am thrifty. Has anyone ordered thru Wedding Paper Divas? Is it worth it to not drive myself crazy trying to make my own invites?
  7. Maybe you can find a restaurant in the cliff area that will do the wedding. But you'd have to transport everybody back and forth.
  8. Looks great. Maybe you could blow your hair out the day before to save time?
  9. How are his legs? Lol, I think shorts are too casual, how about comfy pants.
  10. I think your cousin has a special situation and you can pay or use the free guest passes for her. But, I think your parents should stay at the resort because they might need to be around for other events, etc, and to keep getting day passes for them would be expensive. Your friends should be warned about the day pass and should stay at your resort or pay for it themselves. How different can these resorts be, I've stayed at a few and they don't seem so different. Remind your friends you all want to be able to hang out at the same place.
  11. I keep trying to plan an engagement party but can't seem to get it together. Maybe a bon voyage party is the ticket. An AHR seems like too much to do after you get back.
  12. A friend did it at a wedding I went to down south. I didn't notice any wilting, the bridesmaids just plopped there flowers into the empty vases when they got to the reception. Just be sure to get a vase that will fit so no one has to run around looking for scissors.
  13. What about daisies? I am not sure about navy flowers but maybe you can use navy ribbon to wrap the flowers. Lot of flowerss are yellow and white.
  14. I just PMd you. I do know your cousin. Small world. I am thinking about the free package and just adding on here and there.
  15. We put a few things on a registry. I figured that for the bridal shower party people may want some direction for gifts. I also put on the invites your presence is a present to us, etc.
  16. Be honest. Let her make the choice, and tell her it's no pressure.
  17. I always thought you gave a shower gift and a wedding gift. I have always done so in the past. Even when I had to travel, let's face it, many weddings are still destination for the guests, even if it is still in the US. But, it would be kinda sticky to ask your non gift giving friends to give you more gifts. Maybe you can spread the word to the AHR guests, they really should be giving you gifts, at least they should cover the cost of their dinners.
  18. Thanks, thye just changed the 2010 package and now it doesn't have photography, so it won't be a problem.
