  1. I'd also recommend RK. It's like a big warehouse with tons of dresses in a range of prices. I had a good experience the 1st time I went there with an assistant named Sheryl (I think that's her name) & will definitely go back & ask for her. One of my friends also had her & bought her dress there. One nice thing is that they price match so you could possibly find your dress elsewhere cheaper but still order it from them. Have fun shopping!!
  2. Wow - simply gorgeous! Love the ones w/ you & your hubby jumping up from the sand & in the monster wave! Congratulations!!
  3. I keep checking back on your dress' progress & wow!! It is beautiful and I am so impressed with your aunt's skills! What an amazing gift! I love the lace and the back is perfect! And yay for a good bra so you can go strapless!
  4. I love love love that dress! So glad you followed your gut & got the one you love! Thanks for the encouragement - it's been about 4 months since I tried anything on so it's probably time I get back out there. Though I did order a dress I saw online at Nordstrom & it'd be great if if works out (apparently none of the stores w/in 100 miles of nyc carry it). 5. writing a genetics paper on hypertension. eww.
  6. Hi! How did your day go?? Hope it was a success! I went to RK & David's a while back but I need to go again. I was a little disappointed when I went to RK b/c the sort of straight/sheath style I wanted just didn't look right on me & the consultant told me that I was looking for the wrong dress style (hips are too big I guess). I appreciated her honesty but it made me a little depressed. I was also in a bit of sticker shock at RK & I think the combo sort of turned me off looking for a while. We did find some dresses that looked good & weren't ridiculously priced so I just need to get over it & get out there again.

(I'm a nurse so he was assuming STD=sexually transmitted disease) ha! Ha!! That's hilarious! I'm a new nurse & that's what my FI (& some of my friends) thought too!

It's sooo pretty. The 1st dress looks gorgeous, but so does the 3rd! Strapless looks great on you. And the most recent dress you posted would combine them so that could look fabulous too. Ah, decisions. I would just keep trying on dresses until you find one you feel amazing in & can't stop thinking about. Good luck!

Fun to look at (& make) but you really don't have to have one to plan a wedding. Anyway, this site (the perfect palette) does a bunch in every color. The Perfect Palette

  13. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know how excited you are & it is such a great feeling!! I just finished my BSN & am in an FNP program now. Actually just passed my boards a week ago. Is it a traditional program or accelerated? Best of luck to you!!!
  14. OMG YUM!! I have no idea yet, but you've inspired me! What about strawberry shortcake or DIY sundaes?
  15. #2! Love it! Since you already have a necklace & earrings (I saw your other post) I don't think you need a large bracelet. But, if you're not wearing a necklace I'd go w/ #1. Just go w/ your gut & get what you think you'll love wearing!
  16. Great job!! They look completely professional & your guests will love them!

Just go for thoughtfulness first and they will appreciate that the most. Very well-put!

But now I think I am going to get the one on dillards website, Betsy and Adam Pleated Halter Gown for $160. I love that dress! Are you wearing it for your wedding or just TTD? It's really beautiful!
