  1. Hey Timberly, I just posted this question on another thread (the one about boudoir prices) but I was wondering whether your shoot w/ Jen started at 10? I'm having a shoot with her & I sort of wanted to get my hair done before but I'm a little worried about getting there on time (have to get a zipcar too). Where/what time did you get your hair done before? Thanks!
  2. Very cute!! I love vistaprint!! We're designing our "get ready for Mexico" brochures and just bought pens from them.
  3. I'm wearing this bracelet & earrings (though I had the earrings made to match the bracelet so they have the same light blue crystals in them). Both are from etsy. Tatiana Bracelet Aqua Quartz Freshwater Pearls by BGBJewelry[]=tags&includes[]=title earrings Anne Marie Earrings in White Swarovski Pearl Dangle by BGBJewelry but with the blue crystals added like these Tatiana Earrings Freshwater Pearls Swarovski by BGBJewelry good luck finding your jewelry!
  4. I have a macbook (cute & portable) & FI has a macbook pro. It's got a huge screen & is very nice! I also used to be afraid of macs but I bought mine over a year ago & love it (what's not to love about NO viruses?)! Alyssa & Nadine, congrats on the new computers! Let us know how you like them.

  6. Congratulations Meagan!!! Hope you had a perfect day!
  7. Jess! Your pictures are gorgeous!! You looked absolutely beautiful and you & Paul look so incredibly happy! There are so many great details in your wedding! And I LOVE your day-after shoot! btw, did you re-do your eye makeup for the ttd? It looks great!
  8. Congratulations!! Your pictures are just amazing - they did such a fabulous job capturing so much emotion! You & your hubby look so happy!
  9. Hey girls. Got a sound/music question for Autumn, Jill, Jamie, Kimber, Lauren or anyone who had their ceremony at Dreams so if any of you have any insights you could share I'd appreciate it. Did you have music played for the ceremony (processional, recessional) and if so did you hire a DJ to play it or use your own sound system (ipod, etc)? We're getting married on the beach & it costs $100 to hire their DJ for the ceremony. Our ceremony is probably going to be less than 1/2 hour long so I really don't think it's worth the extra cost, but I'm worried that bringing our own ipod & speakers may not be loud enough for either the guests or me to hear (like knowing when to walk down the aisle). Did any of you run into this? If you brought your own system was it loud enough? And who manned the ipod? How did you know when to start walking down the aisle? Just wondering if it's too much of a pain to coordinate and whether I should just suck it up & pay the 100 bucks. Thanks chicas!
  10. That is so super cute! I love the plane & how the pics move when you put your mouse on them. Great job to your friend!!
  11. We got paper & envelopes from paperpresentation.com. We were happy with their selection & service. No. 10 Envelopes: www.paperpresentation.com
  12. I booked last year in like March or April & was told we have the 2009 rates even though the wedding isn't until this May. A while back (maybe a month?) I emailed Rebeca about the possibility of paying for a day-pass for our photog & she said we wouldn't have to. Come to think of it, when I first booked they didn't even have a photographer to offer, and we booked the Ultimate package. When I asked Rebeca about photogs, said that they didn't provide that service so we could bring in someone. I even asked for recommendations but she didn't provide any. hmm. That sucks they've changed their policy!

Hey, sure thing! I did get them online so you're in luck! I bought the invitation separately from the outer pocket, trimmed the tan/sandy colored paper so they would fit & just used glue dots to secure them. The teal pockets are from cardsandpockets.com. You can order samples from them & they have great customer service. We got the actual invitation (the natural paper background with the palm leaf invite) & response cards from happiepaper (a division of passionpaper.com). The price was $2.00 per invitation. We paid extra for our return address to be printed on the back of the main envelopes and on the response card envelopes, but I think it was worth it. We were really happy with how they turned out overall, but the only caveat I would warn you about is to be super careful when filling out the online order form. I wrote everything out in a Word document (the wording of the invitation) and then copied & pasted into their form, but there was a problem with formatting so a couple things were missing when I got the proof. They charge $50 for ANY changes after you receive your proof which I thought was not cool considering we were only missing one S and 2 exclamation marks (which had been there on my Word doc but disappeared when I pasted into the form). Plus the woman I had been emailing back & forth with (I think she's co-owner) was flaky in that she never sent us the 2nd proof & 2 weeks later when I threatened to take my business elsewhere she finally emailed me back stating she had sent it to me & thought I had already OK'd it (none of which had happened). Anyway it might have been a fluke & I'm not trying to deter you b/c you might have a completely positive experience if you order from them, but she was pretty unprofessional so I just thought I should share that info. Here's the invitation: Palm Leaf Wedding Invitations This is the pocket we ordered Signature PocketFold <br> Tiffany (Metallic) I bought the mini sand dollars on ebay & raffia at Michaels and we made the travel info inserts at home. Sorry for the long rant & let me know if you have any questions. Good luck with your invitations!
  14. I love love love those!!! She did an amazing job & I'm not surprised at all about the great feedback you've received! I really like her site/blog too. Did you send them out boxed or in envelopes? That type of invite was an inspiration for me too, but I ended up using little sand dollars instead of starfish.
  15. Wow!! Congratulations to you both! You are a gorgeous couple & your pics by Elizabeth are nothing short of stunning! I love the ceremony set-up with the blue/silvery fabric & those cool tile mobiles hanging in the back! So pretty! And I also love your flower girls' dresses & cupcake tower!
  16. Wow! Those are gorgeous!!! She did an incredible job on them!
