I guess I better read that new rule announcement! But, I have quite a few posts, as I found this forum a long time ago. Anyways, I did all my letters and brochures and stuff through vistaprint for free! So, I don't have any documents to upload. Sorry!!! Honey - I hope you're enjoying your first day off!! I am working today and Monday, but we are leaving for our airport hotel on Monday night. I'm really excited! It looks like we're going to have to check a fifth duffel bag - stupid wedding mugs. Who knew they were going to take up SO much space! A quick verification - we just need to bring our ID/license, passport, and birth certificate, right? Woop!!!

I think we picked one that a lot of other BDW brides have used. Just search for it.

Thanks so much for all the answers Tracy!! I finished getting all my receipts together today - I only had to make one fake one. Not bad! I'm going to assume that the fact that the invoices I'm giving to FI won't cause him any trouble - the invoices all have my name on them. I don't think it will be a problem. We leave on Monday!! I'm super duper excited!!!! We've started packing and I think we're going to make it all fit!

For those of you going to Mexico, how are your receipts coming for customs? Is anyone using paypal invoices? They don't say what you purchased...how do you get around that??

Oh, very very cute Honey!!! We are just doing a one layer vanilla cake, since our buffet comes with desserts too! I've started packing tonight, I feel a little better about things now. I also have almost all my receipts sorted out. Do you think a paypal receipt would work? They don't say what you purchased...??

I agree, I would try to book the date of the wedding far in advance, the worry about the rest later. At least then you have a date for your dad to plan around. And your mom will know farrrr in advance which resort you are going to, so she should be able to spend lots of time saving! We started our planning about 9 months in advance. We very spontaneously decided to just have a wedding, and picked our resort without doing much research...LOL. It was about time though - we were engaged for three years!!

Oh Tina, I'm so glad it's all coming together so nicely!! I'm so happy for you! I am just going to make fake receipts for the stuff I don't have receipts for and bring real ones that work. I wish I would have thought ahead and not bought OOT bag stuff with other stuff on the same receipts. That was just dumb. Hopefully we'll only have four bags! I'm trying not to freak out about customs anymore. Or anything...but it's hard! I've been so tense and clenching my teeth when I'm not paying attention. LOL. Gosh I will be glad when I'm down there and can just relax!! We leave in 6 days!!!

I was having problems with my WC, Kalena, and I got my WC switched to Claudia, who is really great via email. I never heard from Kalena once - over a course of five months - phone calls and all. Tina has had much better luck with her though!!

One question I keep forgetting to ask...has anyone gotten any guidance from their WC about how long ceremony songs should be? Particularly the one for signing papers - I'm wondering how long it should be...??

Honey, I'm glad to hear that! I must be hormonal or something - I'm just so unhappy with EVERYTHING lately. I leave in 9 days. We now have a surprise birthday party to go to on Saturday which is stressing me out even more. Good news though, apparently my WC got an exception to get me a square hollow table - works fine for me! Glad that drama is over!!!

We decided on hot pink, orange, and turquoise. I wanted to lime green instead of turquoise, but FI thought it was too girly. LOL. I really like the color combination though - it's like the sun setting over the ocean. I use shades of the colors too - for example, I'm doing pastels of the three colors for my maraca favors!

We are doing... Ceremony - 1pm Cocktail Reception - 145 to 245 Informal Meetup at the Lobby Bar - 245 to 6 Dinner and Dancing Reception - 6 to 10 Both the cocktail reception and dinner reception are private. We'll probably do our pictures after the cocktail reception. The bar meet up is optional and informal - just a place for guests to meet up if they want to keep the party going for a little bit. I doubt that people will meet up for the entire time. I wish we could have gotten our ceremony later - but no luck there!!

Hey Shinbinea - we definitely are getting the honeymoon package! I'll never pass up a massage. LOL. Tina, I have read that Cancun is on a water filtration system, so the water should be safe. I haven't heard of anyone getting sick there! I'm SOOO excited for you! I can't believe how close you are. Doesn't it seem like yesterday we were months away??
