  1. I finally found some shoes!!! I am sooo excited. I have been literally scouring the internet for months! Who knew it would be so hard to find ivory, satin, strappy sandals with over a 3.5 inch heel for under $100? I was a little worried because I thought they may look cheap in person but they are perfect! I especially like the padding in the foot bed and the suede material that keeps your foot from sliding forward. I took them for a stroll around the house and they seem pretty comfy. I'm used to 3.5 inch+ heels so that's no biggie but I hate when your toes keep sliding up. Any how, enough rambling, on to the pics! I purchased them from rsvp Peaches - Free Shipping I think they look better in person.

  3. I should put a little update since I actually have some things booked since the last time I posted! We are having are ceremony at the West Lawn at the Flamingo. We are then going to be at rumjungle at Mandalay Bay in a private space for a hor'devours & cocktails reception. We will then head to the Panorama Suite at Planet Hollywood for the after party. If you have questions about my venues, I'd be happy to share my experiences!

  5. I would be interested in 30 if someone doesn't want the whole lot!
  6. It's super cute! And I'm sure everyone else will think so too since they know your last name will be Moose.
  7. I ended up getting a dress from Cache for after the wedding. I posted it here. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t43024 I also found some cute ones I liked at J.Crew and BCBG.
  8. I've had a hard time figuring out what I want to do. I thinking of going with a low updo with some sort of flower or hair jewels. Maybe something like this

And I'm very careful with my books.. they look like new after I've read them.. heh! I think I have a slight OCD problem It should be available On Demand if you have that. You can catch up on the whole season.

  11. I'm a native Detroiter & a UM alum so by nature I hate all things Ohio BUT... I'm not a hater... so that show was truly amazing!
  12. Thanks ladies! I just went on the DSW website and apparently the do have this shoe in blue Zigi Soho Gleem Peep Toe Platform Zigi Soho –*DSW but I think that's too much blue. If it went from that middle blue to cream, that'd be perfect.
  13. I finally find something I thought would be suitable for our in-suite after party and post-wedding Vegas club crawl. We will totally be looking to cut loose after all the wedding pomp & circumstance. I found the dress at Cache. It wasn't on sale (shocker!) but FI put in half so I felt better about it. This pic makes it look white, but it's ivory. I found the shoes at DSW. I had at $10 off coupon so they were $40. I wish they had this shoe fading from blue to cream because I would soooo get that for the wedding. Still no luck with something for that. :|
  14. I went by there today for some shirts and the checkout kid suggested that if I was coming for flip flops, I get there when it opens on Sat. He said they go quickly!
  15. Photofinish is definitely a must. I'm a MAC girl since I get a pro discount, but I still go to Sephora mostly for the Photofinish. I also pick up the Eye Illusion shimmer quad. It's good for brightening up tired looking eyes.
  16. I'm glad you got your package back... but your neighbor sure is LAZY! I used to live in an apt complex that was like that (diff building #s, same apt #s) and I got people's seemingly unimportant bills & whatnot and I always just walked them over the correct apt. If I got a package from UPS from a photog I would've made sure it got to the right person! People nowadays... I just don't know what to think sometimes!
  17. If you can avoid it, do not go to Geek Squad! They are terribly overpriced. Any college student could probably fix what's wrong for $20 while they charge $60 just to look at it. Since you are in NJ there is probably a ton of local computer repair shops that will look at it for free and let you know what's up. It is probably just the fan, or if you use it on a soft surface (bed, pillow, even your lap) that could be the problem to. Laptops usually only have one little port for the fan so if that is blocked, it's lights out. Get it fixed ASAP though because overheating can quickly cause damage to other things (motherboard, processor, etc.).
  18. I've been a Palm Treo girl every since I gave up the flip phone in '05. I went from a 600, to a 650 to the Centro and I'm patiently waiting this Pre so I can snag that too! I would've went with the 755 over the Centro but then didn't have any in stock and I needed a phone that day (It was the day I went to Running of the Brides to get my dress!) so I settled for the Centro. It's cool, but I can't wait for the Pre!
  19. My FI asked me out of the blue the other day if he was supposed to give me a gift so of course I said "yes." I'm no dummy! I had been planning on getting him these Tiffany's cufflinks when he was going to wear a blue tie since they were silver and cobalt but now he's wearing orange and it just won't go so I'm trying to find him some that are equally as nice but that still go with the color scheme.
  20. Approx 40 guests in Las Vegas: Travel/Accommodations: 1,000 Dress: 250 Photography: Free Church ceremony: 1,000 Reception: 1,500 After Party: 1,000 STD/Invitations: 150 Bridesmaid Dresses: 120 Groom's Suit: 120 OOT bags/supplies: 100 TOTAL: 5,240 I'm a TOTAL cheapskate so most of these totals include taxes and fees. I always say "all inclusive" when asking for a quote from a vendor. I've saved a lot by having amazing friends & a few connections.
