Marc and i went out to dinner on a friday night before we were going to meet some friends at a bar in Hoboken for a birthday.... little did I know that he had planned the entire night for us. Before i knew it we were at the sushi restuarant where he had taken me on our first date which we hadn't been back to since. Our first date was such a great time and we both enjoyed ourselves over some delicious rolls, two bottles of wine, and great conversation. We were enjoying ourselves so much and it was a clear, mild night out so we ended up driving to the overlook in Weehawken to Hamilton park to take a stroll and look at the city skyline... This is where it got interesting - As we just finished walking down some steps of cobblestone my high heal (of course I was wearing super cute shoes and a dress for the first date) got caught in a hole and sure enough I went down - dress up and shoe damaged.... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry and he didn't know whether to help me up or ignore me.... we both decided that it was hilarious and laughed about it. All the while I am thinking that he will never talk to me again after this and I just blew up... but a year later - I found myself at the same spot with him on June 27th - taking a walk, after our dinner, and we went right to the same spot as we laughed about what had happened the year prior and how far we had come since then. That is when after a beautiful speech - he had tears in his eyes, a ring in his hand, and asked me to marry him!!! We couldn't be happier to share the news and went to meet our friends to celebrate - it was such an amazing night that I will never forget ~Courtney

wow - Marc and I have been dating only over a year (1year 2 months when he proposed!)- I am 25 and he just turned 29... when you know, you know... we both couldn't be happier and more excited to spend out lives together

You are going to look gorgeous! To get some suggestions for your hair I would google in pictures some of your favortie celebrities...( for example - if you have long hair I would do Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift) and you can find a ton of different up-dos or styles that you will like! ~Courtney

Our travel agent is not charging us a fee - the resort pays him. We secured a very good group rate at the Grand Lido - 169 per nihgt per person. Every 19 people booked the 20th is free. As far as airfair - you can't see anything until 340 days prior to when you are looking to fly. For example our wedding is 10-10-09 we won't be able to look at rate until late November. Most reorts require one person to be the point person and payee for the Group - so therefore, if you don't use a TA - you and your fiance will have to front the money - then collect it from your guests on time to make the payment to the resort to secure your rooms and rates. Hope this helps

I think it's a different idea and guests will like it - they can just chill out - be loose and get to know each other - it's a little more intimate then a dinner and also guests won't feel like they are on a time clock good luck - enjoy it

Hey Ladies... I "googled - sparklers, weddings" and I found this site that will ship anywhere in the world. I don't know what the shipping fee will be - you will see that when you check out on the site when you add the sparklers in the bag. They show a picture of a bride and groom walking through the tunnel of people holding the sparklers and they look great. They also offer three different sized sticks as well. Hope this helps... A friend and her boyfriend just stayed at CSA for a week and absolutely loved every minute of it - her pictures were goergeous and the beach and water looked amazing! Enjoy the resort ladies = ) ~Courtney
