So we went out and bought some stuff for our OOT bags and center pieces and other things and we came across a couple of good finds. The Dollar store has Mini Texas Hold'em sets...We got these for our Men's OOT bags...My FI has big plans to have a couple poker games with the guys while we're there Plus I think it's a cute addition for the bags. The Dollar store also has nice Cylander vases or Candle holders or whatever you want to use them for. They have a couple of different shapes and sizes. We got some of these as the main part of our centerpieces. They are really nice and light weight, which is a big plus for traveling!! We also got some Crayons & Coloring books for the RB/FG and some mini nerf balls for the guys :-) We then went to AC Moore to look for a couple of big flowers and we found them, in our color, but they were $4 a stem...I only needed 5 so i got them...however, it was a nice surprise when we got to the register to see that they were 50% off! (I love when that happens!!) So if you need any fake flowers for your DIY's...they are 50% there They also have iron on Rhinestone words for $3.99...I am making my Bridesmaids tanks rather then buy them and I was going to just buy the letters...But the Rhinestone letters are pretty pricey for the pack....and this way, you get the whole word, (i.e..Bridesmaid, Maid of Honor, Bride.) for 4 bucks! Which brings me too old navy...The ribbed Tanks are on sale for $5.00 each and they have TONS of colors. I got Orange for the girls and white for me. So the total cost for my Bridesmaids/Maid of Honor tanks are $9 each!! Woo-hoo...Ya can't beat that! Oh I forgot to add that we went to IKea to return the Original centerpiece stuff we bought and we got a 12 pack of clear votive holders for $1.99...which was perfect because we needed 24!! All in All..today was a pretty good shopping day and hopefully some of you are looking for these things and now you can go and get them on sale Happy Shopping!!!

Thanks :-) P.S. I am still looking for that specific picture..lol It's driving me crazy... Elite Travel - Gallery

It seemed really nice, but it wasn't inside..it was outside..I think there was a fountain there..Does that make sense? I dunno..I will look for it...because maybe I have another picture in my head. :-) Thank you!!!

Need advice on how to deal with dog's destructiveness

WoW..I would definitely not go back to that trainer..That is cruelty in my book! There are some good trainers out there...and you may never know what the real reason is, but you try some things and see what works..That's all we can do as dog owners :-) Oh and my dog did half of an agility course this weekend...He did better then I thought! It's really funn for them..And really gets them to focus! :-) -
I'm not worried about it, but I don't want my guests to start worrying about it...and of course today I get an e-mail from my sisters best friend, who isn't even coming to the wedding, but is a total nervene..With a link about the spring breakers warning. She sent it to me and my sister. It's like, Your not even coming to the Wedding, Mind your business!! I have no idea why this pissed me off, but it did. We will be in the resort 90% of the time..I only plan to venture off to the bars/clubs area one night. Do you think I should include this in my Pre-Traval newsletter to maybe ease any fears my guests may have

Need advice on how to deal with dog's destructiveness
**~Jenn~** replied to SunBride's topic in Chit Chat Corner!
I sometimes send Buddy to his crate when he is being out of control and just getting crazy to the point where he doesn't know when to stop, so I'll say, "Buddy..Cage" He stops whatever he is doing and will go sit there...I don't lock him in and it's only for a min, but he calms down and is ok again. However....If you do decide to start crate training...I wouldn't use it as a punishment, ever, in your case. Just because it's not a place he is used to on a Daily basis yet. When we first started crating Buddy, he always got a treat before we closed and locked him in there...So now, when I leave in the morning, I go to his treat jar and he automatically will go and sit in his cage and wait for his treat :-) To be honest.....My dog will still grab socks and pantys from the laundry and if there is something on the floor (During the fall we tracked in leaves alot) he will think nothing to pick it up, so the fact that your dog does certain things when your home isn't that surprising or unusual (to me anyway..lol)...that part you may be able to work on with some more basic training, such as taking away what he is eating or chewing that's bad and giving him a toy instead. This is something I need to work on as well!! LOL I also agree that it still could be seperation anxiety, which would explain why he is so calm when your home. He stressed himself out all day and when your home he's calm and relaxed. Another dog is another expense...and there is the issue of when you go away...And your right, you may get double the problem..However...Maybe you can contact a beagel rescue and adopt an older beagel who is in foster care with someone. Most likely you will learn everything you need to know about the dog from first hand experience since he/she will have already been living in a home. That may at least cut out your worry of double the problem and you will be saving a life (because now there will be room in that Foster parents house for another rescue..YAY) I know what you mean about the winter months being harder to really let our Dogs get the most out of there walks...If it's cold he gets a 15-20 min walk at night and that's it, but in the spring/summer he can go to the dog park or even the regular park for a while and that is a big difference. More exercise couldn't hurt...Even if you don't think that's what he needs, you never know. Good Luck! :-) -

I agree with Lauraandmatt...Doggy Daycare has been a life saver!! After 2 days there, he is so tired and relaxed its like a different dog!! It really sounds like he needs more exercise. It doesn't 100% mean seperation anxiety..He could just be really bored...and a bored doggy is a destructive doggy!! My FI & I are gone 8-10 hrs during the week...and 3 of those days he's home, happily sleeping in his cage. He has been in there since he was a puppy though, so I'm not really sure crate training will work for you at this point, but he def should not have the run of the house anymore. The thing about crates, or even just a smaller blocked in space...They feel comfortable in "their" space and it creates security for some dogs. Another suggestion..And this may not be in your plan or budget, but just a suggestion...Maybe adopt a little friend for him? They will tire each other out and if it is seperation anxiety it may ease his mind a little. or maybe hire a dog walker to come in the afternoon to ake him for a half hour walk. It may break up his day and make him more tired in the afternoon. Either way..It sounds like he needs more exercise..So I would start there. There is lots of good advice in the above posts so hopefully something will work for you. I'm sorry that your going through all that. Some dogs are more needy then others :-) Good luck and keep us posted with at you do :-) -
Aww really? I think I heard that youcan only have it there if you were willing to wait until it closed for the night, which I think it aroun 8ish? But it does make sense that it's not an option anymore, because we really don't hear of DC brides having it there. Hmm..I am just going to wait until I get there and scope it all out :-) Thanks

Is anyone having their reception in the Spa area?? I know some brides have and I know there are pictures floating around, I just can't seem to find them. My ceremony is late and my Reception will probably eb around 7:30/8:00 and I am really thinking of trying to have it in the Spa area. I remember loving the pictures (That I can't find..LOL) I guess I'm just hoping for a review or if any of you know what the heck I am talking about :-) In other news, I think I am booking DJ Doremixx..He is really cheap and I am hearing good things about him!! Let's hope Dreams lets him in!! LOL

Child Size Guayabera's??
**~Jenn~** replied to **~Jenn~**'s topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Well they do have them...however, he wants $35 for it...I didn't pay that much for the Adult sizes. I really don't want to spend that on one shirt for a Toddler, ya know? Thanks for your help though :-) -
Mummrgirl, I was thinking the same exact thing!! We registed at Target (And also BBB which I wish I didn't even bother with that place) and after leaving the store happy with our picks, and our "Red" theme, I went home and went on the website and found TONS more stuff that wasn't in the store. So I had a good old time clicking and adding all the new stuff, and then I realized alot of stuff said, Online Only! I was thinking if I should take them off, but ya know what...Don't....Alot of people will most likely look online first just to see what's on your registry and then they will see the online only stuff and they can decide what they want to do. And like someone else said, If anything, you'll get gifts cards or Money and you can get the things you want yourself :-)

Child Size Guayabera's??
**~Jenn~** replied to **~Jenn~**'s topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
oops...The website is actually...Beach Wedding Shirts | Guayaberas, Linen Pants, Boys Linen Shirts, Mexican Wedding Shirts. I knew it didn't look right!! lol -
So I ordered my Groomsmen Guayabera's from www.MyCubanWedding.com, they came in and everything is fine. Then I go online to look for a Child's Size Guayabera for our Ring Bearer...and although I did find some...They don't look like the ones I got for the men (Even on the same website) and they are like $30 or more..I didn't even pay that much for the men!! Does anyone know who sells child size Guaybera's for a reasonable price? I think I will need a 3T or a 4T. Thanks!!

I agree with this article with the whole thing that if it does go down the way Reality Steve says, the show will make it look like Jason really did just change his mind and we may never know if this was really planned from the start. Hmmm...It also Answers the question on when the "After the final Rose" episode airs....Right after the finale and a part 2 on Tuesday..YAY

I think the "After the Final Rose" Episode is on right after the Finale on Monday...However I have heard there is a Part 2 of that on Tuesday as well. I could be wrong, but I think that's how it's going :-)

What are the Random Things Your FI/DH put his foot down about**
**~Jenn~** replied to Erika J's topic in Random Thoughts
My FI doesnt want a TTD :-( Granted, we really can't afford it now and I am just happy we were able to afford a Photographer that wasn't the resorts (Cecilia Dumas! :-) But I think a TTD would have been really awsome. I can certainly live without it though!! :-) -
Well as boring and stupid as last night was...The good news is, It's outta the way now..LOL Now on to the Finale. I think everyone is not liking Jason due to these Reality Steve rumors. I admit, I don't feel the same way about him as I did in the begining..Partly because this show built him up to be this "amazing" (lol) guy and single father, when in reality he's still just a guy who takes care of his son. And also because you can't help but believe these rumors which would really make him a scum :-( By the way..Why doesn't his Ex Wife take care of Ty too? or Does she? It seems like he is the sole provider, or that's how they make it seem.

I swear I don't know how I'm going to get through my work day next Monday! LOL I was ecited for the show tonight and it's only the stupid WTA episode!! :-(
