    Hello!

Congrats Polina and welcome to the forum!
  14. Thanks Abbie but I have already poured through well over 100 posts about gran cenote on here before posting the question. I couldn't find the information I wanted in them so I made a new thread. Malisa has helped with more information in 2 replies then all the other posts I have read combined.
  15. Thanks again for the great info, I have a lot to think about. What day did you go? I herd the weekends are really busy compared to the weekdays (planning for a wed). I wish I was down there earlier so I could scout them out but I am flying in the day before the TTD so I need to make plans now.
  16. Tracy, sorry to hear about your trouble, but I can help you turn off the problem with your É and other keyboard trouble. It's a problem with the language setting in Vista, I get it too. It switches to Canadian French sometimes and you have to change it back to US. To change it back go to your control panel, regional and language settings, keyboard and languages tab, click change keyboards... Have the default language as "English (Canada) - US". You may be able to remove the french and multilingual options below that to help stop the problem from happening again. Hope that helps.

Congrats Christa and welcome to the forum! Every time I hear Red Deer I think of the building with the old western mural on the side of it (took a picture of a wedding party there). January is often times better for travel for us Canadians vs October as October is normally busy for a lot of families (thanksgiving and the weather is still fairly nice). January is cold and really nice to escape from and go somewhere warm!
  18. Hi Erin, Welcome to the forum! Happy planning you will get lots of ideas for your location here.
  19. Thanks! I am SUPER stoked to head out so soon! I will email you shortly to organize a drop off time of my infrared camera.
  20. Thanks for the info. I rarely use a tripod for anything I do so I will make sure not to bring one just in case. I thought there was a section in gran that you could walk around in though? I found a couple pics online. Here shows a couple at the side of one of the cavern areas. Which looks to be right beside this image. Water is deceiving when judging depths. Does anyone know if you can walk in through here?
  21. Welcome to the forums. Have fun will all your planning!
  22. I will be down in Mexico next month shooting a wedding and will be doing a TTD. This time around I really want to head to a cenote for the pics and the B&G love the idea. I am really leaning towards Gran Cenote. Have any brides been there in the past few months to do their TTD? I just want to make sure they won't ding us for any extra fees for doing a shoot in there above regular admission.
  23. Congrats Stephanie! You will have a blast. Happy planning!
  24. I love these forums, I think it is a great tool for brides planning their destination wedding. When my cousin planned her destination wedding in Mexico I know she would have found this really helpful and it's too bad she didn't know about it. The one thing I have noticed and that kind of bugs me, as well as others I am sure are the robotic responses in the Newbies section. I guess the bigger question is are the cut and paste welcome responses helpful? I say this because it seems like so many newbies first posts aren't even read. There are 2 response possibilities (new bride greeting or new vendor greeting). Personally I like to add a little personalization into greetings. I understand that vendors (like myself) want their signature to appear everywhere as it is our method of advertising, but at what cost? I am not trying to direct this at one person as there are a few, and I am not trying to rub anyone the wrong way. I just think some personalization in any posting makes for a better place. <end rant> I was going to post this in the forum suggestion area at first until I read it through and found no suggestions. It turned out to be just a rant.
