  14. Thanks Jen. I think I have a blue steel pic of almost every place they went. It was their signature. I wouldn't be surprised if they strike up a blue steel pose just before their I do's
  15. Congrats Marie. Happy planning!
  16. Welcome Robyn. When considering the time of year you are going also consider when the rainy season is. It may be worth being there with a few extra people to have a less of a chance of rain. If you were thinking Mexico either January or March would probably be better then July for weather. It would probably be cheaper in July though. Either way there are pros and cons. Happy planning!
  17. I did a TTD session in Mexico last November. It was the brides one and only dress and she was planning to wear it back home for a party with the people who couldn't join them on the trip. We kept it to the pool area so not to get it too "trashed". After everything was done, it dried in record time and she swore it looked nicer (whiter) and felt more comfortable after it had been through the TTD. The middle pic in the my signature was of the very last second of the dress before it entered the pool. All the guys suites and brides maids dresses were also fine after. Don't let the "trash" in trash the dress mislead you, no dresses need be harmed in the making of great photographs. But if you are ok with it, all the better
  18. Congrats Michelle! Good luck with all your planning
  19. Welcome to the forums fellow vendor
  20. I must say the Camel picture is very non-Canadian, but the rest are very much representative of the Toronto area You two were great to work with and I am sure we will get (dare I say it) even better shots in Mexico!
  21. I don't think you could go wrong with either choice to be honest. Both areas are absolutely stunning for pictures. Also keep in mind if you want to do any off resort location shoots (TTD or portraits). Take a look around the resort or ask a photographer you have in mind for suggestions. If you narrow it down to a couple locations in each area, may I suggest a couple things to consider that may not be typical considerations: How close is it to other areas you may like photos to be taken? Where does the sun set? Chances are you wont want to wake up at the crack of dawn in your wedding dress to catch the sun rise. If you have a clear skyline to the west you should be able to get a few amazing sunset shots the night of your wedding.
  22. Congrats. I am sure you will find tons of inspiration on the forums to help your decision.
