Awe, that's horrible. Nasty co-workers make the atmosphere uncomfortable for everyone. I definitely think you're right to stand up for yourself. It sounds as though you've tried to go above and beyond for this woman. It's unfortunate that she doesn't recognize or appreciate what a wonderful friend you could have been to her. Her loss. Continue being who you are. Jealousy is not very becoming and her true colors are surely showing.

Awe, that sucks. Men are just dense sometimes. Heck! All the time. Mine is usually pretty good about keeping our dates, but he lacks in other areas. My biggest bicker is that he is almost useless around the house. We both work full time and yet I am the one who cooks, cleans, does laundry... etc. etc. It would be so much easier if we could just go to a workshop kinda like Build-a-Bear and Build-a-Man.

I would say I am superstitious as well, but at the same time... if all the superstitions and serendipity were true, what would be the point of living life? It is what you make of it. Although, I will say that part of the reason Hiram and I decided to have a destination wedding was because we wanted to do the exact opposite of our parents. My parents divorced and never remarried and both of his parents are on their 3rd marriages. I think that it is just a matter of separating yourself from the object. If there is some sort of course, maybe you carrying the bible and wearing the ring will stop it. You and your hubby-to-be can break the chain of bad luck.

We got ours the night it came out. Since we work until 11pm, we stopped at Walmart and picked it up at midnight. There had been a line and everything. I've been on it faithfully since (at least 3 days a week, some weeks every day) and I've lost 13 pounds. It really is amazing. I prefer it to fitness videos because the board recognizes whether or not your form is right instead of just trying to mimic someone on a video. And with gas prices, it's much better than driving to the gym.

Hmmm.... how have these worked out for everyone. I always imagined I'd be barefoot for my beach wedding, but I keep thinking a little heel might slim me down a little bit. Perhaps for after the wedding. I've seen so many that are beautiful.
