  1. I registered online so I think that only happened with 1 item that was only available in stores.
  2. Yay Cece! I'm getting married soon too, I can't believe after all of this time and planning that the wedding and the cruise are actually almost here!!
  3. I printed them through Vistaprint by using the brochure and copying the image to all 3 panels and did a different image on the back 3 panels. Some kind person gave me that tip and it worked well. They are flimsy so I laminated them and then punched a circle hole in them for the door knob. But I was thinking that printing them on rack cards from Vistaprint would have been just as easy and then you wouldn't need to laminate them. HTH
  4. It is so great to see of your DIY stuff together, it looks so beautiful, such a great inspiration thread!! Thanks so much for sharing!
  5. I love the little pool toy with the face, I just found one for my nephew, thanks for the idea!!
  6. You painted those?? You cannot even tell, they look great, def keep them!

  8. I hired a bus from our hotel in Miami to the port, then since people are going to different places after the wedding I'm not doing transportation back but it is close to port so people can get cabs without a problem.
  9. I can't believe I missed when you posted this, for some reason I haven't checked this one in a few days... I love everything, your dress fits you great, good find!! And I love the BM dresses Congrats, can't believe you are leaving soon!
  10. Congrats!!! I'm so excited for you! I started packing yesterday, just set some things aside that I don't need to wear before then. I also started putting together my OOT bags. I wasn't sure if I would do them ahead of time or just bring the stuff down and do it at the hotel but I'm glad I started working on them b/c it's confusing b/t sailing and nonsailing guests, couples and single.
  11. I didn't want to register either, I had the same thoughts as you. But there are people who cant come and want to get you a little something, I was surprised how many got us gifts when we had my shower and it was easier for them after I registered.
  12. Thanks!! I went into major wedding mode today and finished up a lot of loose ends with my little projects that I've been working on for so long, but still have some random chores to do, good thing I have tomorrow off too!
  13. Send out STDs as soon as you have a date/time/place squared away to give people as much time as possible to plan and save... I made my wedding website right away and sent out an email save the date right away then sent out a real save the date about a year out, maybe less I can't quite remember. Some people send out newletters to update people will lots of info between the STD and invite. I sent out my invites about 3 months ahead of time and already had an idea of who was and wasn't coming (a few surprises were thrown in here but not too many), and I just sent out a newletter with info about the day and the cruise 1 month out. As for OOT bags, they aren't just for cruise brides, people make them for their normal weddings for people who come from far away to welcome them to the area so I think they are a great option to help welcome guests but are completely optional, you should feel like you have to do them if it is getting too confusing figuring out who to give them too. When I started I guessed that around 50 people would come to the wedding and started buying things that I could find later if I needed them (ie tissues and puzzles), and then once I had a final count I bought the actual bags and more specific things. And I was right about my guestimation, I have 44 coming so it worked out well. Hope this helps!
  14. I have one for powerpoint, I tried printing through vistaprint but the pages just weren't think enough and I couldn't cut anything straight even with my cutter haha! It was just getting too late and I didn't have the time to dedicate to finish them but I hope this helps you out. MyPassportInviteBDW.ppt
  15. Those are so adorable, doubling them as placecards is a great idea! Great work!
  16. I'm leaving the same day and getting married the same day as you, 15 and 18 days left! I can't sleep either, keep thinking of things that need to get done but per everyone's advise I'm adding it to a list and since I have the next few days off I'm going to be chipping away at it. I've pestered the heck out of the guys in the wedding party, I now all have the paperwork for their tuxes finished and sent to Carnival and changed and resent and changed and resent haha you'd be surprised how difficult it is to find out the right coat size for an 18 year old who apparently thinks he is a lot shorter than he really is! I've booked and paid for the details through Carnival, I just need to worry about the photo prints after the wedding but most of the other stuff is paid for. FH finally found a great place for a welcome dinner in Miami so I'm going to go hunt for some invitations to send out for that right now! Thanks for listening to me vent, I love this forum!
  17. Don't worry, it is easy to gain points once you start chatting on here, an easy way to gain a few now is to help welcome other newbies in that forum, everyone loves a little welcome message and it helps you get to know others that are just getting started on this site like you are.
  18. Those are so cute, great work!!! Thanks for sharing, I wasn't planning on doing menu cards but now you have me thinking...
