YES!!!! For what I paid it was SO worth it, I mean - under $900... shipping included, all of those gorgeous flowers -- I think the pictures really speak to how nice they are, and how well they photograph. Quote: I want something like yours.. actually.. now that you do not need them anymore.. ever think about selling your flowers? Nope, Sorry... Mine are proudly displayed in my China cabinet - with the three starfish picks... beside a wedding photograph. My Bridesmaids kept thier bouquets... one of them has hers on display in her babies room and she teaches the baby to smell the flowers... Floramatique flowers are totally worth every penny!!!! You will not regret it!
  9. Contact Laura at Bridal Blooms By Laura Bridal Blooms By Laura she was amazing to work with and really reasonable!!!!!!!
  10. OH MY GOODNESS Fantastic.... Absolutely fantastic!!!! I am very biased because I love Cuba so much... Ana did an AMAZING AMAZING job... please post this in the Cuba boards too!!!! WOWIE! You must be absolutely thrilled!!!!
  11. I like the collapsible ones... and this quote is way too cute... Rain or Swine! Puerto Vallarta, MX May 24, 2009 I'd leave it just like that... Are you sure the resort does bottles? We knew ours didn't and we opted for insulated travel mugs.
  12. Jamie, have you checked out Workopolis.com they have 'expected salary grids' based on your area. -- ok... workopolis is a Canadian thing... Thanks to google I found the following: Salaries - CBsalary.com CBsalary.com is a free salary calculator from CareerBuilder.com. Search and compare salaries for thousands of jobs. Construction Manager $76,695 = US National Average Salary Assistant Construction Superintendent $79,087 = US National Average Salary Assistant Site Manager $80,027 = US National Average Salary Maybe this would help??
  13. I am totally in love with the groomsmen's boutioneres!!!! they are too cute... did you DIY them
  14. YAY - the Solymar - I have yet to stay there but we'd like to on our next visit - because it is so close to downtown varadero -- you could walk there --or stumble... tee hee hee.. Advice: 1. Check out my planning thread. -- especially the Welcome book for adults, I've detailed a ton of cool stuff to see and do in the town of Varadero. 2. Bring professional hair products for your stylist (I used the salon on resort and was thrilled with the outcome) 3. Bring stuff with you for tipping this is what I gave to our wedding coordinator along with a nice $ tip. -- a nice cloth purse filled with Vitamin C (adult and kid), cough syrup (adult and kid), cold medicine (adult and kid), tempra, tylenol (adult and kid), a digital thermometer (for taking a sick child's temp), polysporin, bandaids, first aid stuff, and some nice bodywash and pouffes *****She was super appreciative. 4. Check out my wedsite if you get a minute to read about the excursions and things to do Chad & Amy - wedding website by mywedding.com Have a great time.... Congrats!!! I can't wait to see the pics and review!

  16. I bet there would be a way to do it between the two points where the bead work is... your bridal salon would be better able to tell you and provide options. Have you tried this dress on yet
  17. WOW... that really crept up fast... I am loving the 'rain or swine' quote... I agree with Abbie ditch the personalized stuff, you only have two weeks to go. A really cute gift for Martin could be... a bottle of champagne and two nice glasses for you to share when you return to your room from your reception? You could have it delivered to his room while you are getting ready with the girls? Along with a note of some sort, I think it would be memorable, and you'd have the glasses as a keepsake! YAY TWO WEEK COUNTDOWN IS ON!!!!!!!!!
  18. Don't do it girl!! I am sorry but I need to be the ettiquette police -- terribly tacky. Also, consider things that people may already have a gift for you in mind. One of my dear friends who is an amazing quilter gave us the most gorgeous quilt, and although a quilt is not something I would choose for myself (my home is quite contemporary), I am honoured that she made it for us, and have it proudly on display in my home - she stylized it in such a way that a quilt (normally country in genre) was contemporary.
  19. What a great shoot!!! you were a total natural!!!! Your FI is gonna flip! You looked fantastic!
  20. I have never ever ever heard of a couth way of saying "no gifts, but money is cool''.... either you want gifts or not... cut and dry. I suggest registering somewhere b/c not everyone is comfortable with cutting cheques! The suggestion to have a honeymoon registry is an awesome alternative... there was a recent post by Tammy regarding the same thing... I'll see if I can find it!
