Like others who have left links in this thread I'm wedding photographer in Punta Cana as well. I think there is no reason to doubt the quality of photographers based in Bavaro-Punta Cana, with some exceptions. When I make prints or photo books and collecting these in person I have observed the physical quality of the work of my colleagues and it is really good. Creativity and style is something else and something more personal. Also, for those who come to marry to DR is sometimes difficult to select someone on line, that's why referrals are others who have used this or that photographer and is the purpose of this forum. Hispaniola Photo, Photo Souvenirs, Juan Guzman (dfotoart), Michael Weiler, Alloco, and some others; all us are active around Punta Cana and are known so well by others in the hotel's area. I really don't understanding some concerns about Dreams locations. Like the most of resorts they have the weddings what they can take care. Actually I`m in contact with WC,(I`m photographer) and they are absolutely open about our services taking place in there, and they sound so nice. Lot of people get weddings in Dreams or Paradisus as well. Every place have differences, but they are good for wedding. Do you need take care about details, time and locations before go to booking time. Enclose HERE open bar (in Paradisus) for those asking about it. Any way do you need sign only one paper for Paradisus record ¨symbolic wedding". But isn`t official paper, like Mogroom said. Juan Guzman dfotoart

We work regularly one couple days every month in Paradisus and never, I or some of our equipment has complained about foods or has become ill. Business is business and truth is truth. We tasted the foods over there most of any body and like some one said: isn´t gourmet destination. May somebody made review about some details but the food is OK.

The Riu hotels in Puerto Plata are really excellent. That facility to use and to enjoy different atmospheres is very attractive. As far as the photos for weddings, I agree that the areas of Riu Bachata are the best ones. HERE I leave some images them for which they wish to see more. Juan Guzman dfotoart

MrsTrusell2B: I have worked and seen several weddings in Paradisus ambient. You would observe as stress level changes when you arrive, because for the hotel staff weddings are routine. I guess for you isn’t a routine. Realise one dancing contest with your guests, brings different musical rhythms, make sure IPod has the power required for a good sound.
