When my mom first mentioned the bible I said no and said I did not think it was good luck; of course she got upset bc she lost my dad(he was only 56). I was viewing Erik's work and it is really nice.

So I am not usually superstitious but when we first got engaged I was now but now not so much but now my FI is. So my grandmother has a bible that she carried down the aisle and since then all of the women in my family have and then signed it. Well 1/2 of them are divorced or lost their husband early. Then yesterday my FI grandmother offered for me to wear her wedding band during our ceremony (I thought it was a great idea since we are getting married on her 60th anniv) but 2 other women in his family have worn it and 1 is divorced and the other is having problems. These items would be our something old/borrowed but do you think it will jinks us or do we just make our own luck?
