YAY! Congrats!!! How exciting!

Hehe, you all made me smile. We are going to do it.....even though it is still a concern

I'm the Cheif of Administration & Marketing for a Financial Public Relations firm. Yes, I knwo that makes sense to very few people. I started my position a month ago and I make $1,500 a month ($18,000 CRINGING). This is temporary and starting next month I make $3000/month ($36,000 year). The company is 4 years old, I started working for them a month ago, but I worked with the president of the company before he started this firm (doing the same work). Oh, and we all work from home. My boss is in Westchester, NY...his partner is in CT and I'm in Staten Island, NY

We only sent information on our resort to guests. I told them that they are welcome to stay elsewhere but they'd have to pay for day passes (other than on the day of our wedding) and if they wanted to stay somewhere else, they'd have to do the work finding it and figuring otu transportation.

Ok, so I know this is probably going to sound like an odd question, or at least an odd concern for someone to have but.... FI has agreed to do a TTD, I think I've found a photog to use. My concern is that we are both "Plus Size". I know it's not usually an issue for guys, but I'm concerned with how I'll look, wet, in a dress. Any advice (other than "lose weight" lol) or opinions? Any plus sized brides who have done TTD and would like to share their pics? TIA!!!

LOL It's a fwd. but it actually made me laugh, so I figured I'd share it with you all

I was walking past the mental hospital the other day, and all the patients were shouting, "13...13....13...13." The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a little gap in the planks and looked through to see what was going on. Some bastard poked me in the eye with a stick. Then they all started shouting. "14...14...14...14...".

So far I've come up with... 1- Welcome to the Wedding Celebration of....our names, date, location 2 - Bridal Party...MOH, Best Man, BM, GM, Ring Bearer 3 - Music...we haven't picked music yet, so it's only a title 4 - Ceremony...Legal, Non-denominational religious, reading, sand ceremony (and maybe hand ceremony if it's not TOO much) 5 - Special Thanks - My parents, his parents, friends who did the reading, cousin in charge of guest book and "And EVERYONE who has traveled many miles to be here with us today!" I might add one before the first one and make it without any words, just heat emboss seashells or sand dollars on it...sort of like a cover. That would make 6 sleaves and a very nice fan if it's hot!!!!! Granted, I might change my mind in the 8 months I have left before my wedding LOL

OMG. My entire family would have nothing to do with me EVERY again! LOL

Wow! Good for her. I agree she doesn't look all that happy, but just being skinny doesn't always do it. I kind of know how she feels. My mom doesn't make fun of me, but likes to point out how thing I WAS....example...this past weekend, we had a bbq. Mom was sitting on the couch with some friends of my FI's and saw a picture of me at my friends wedding at my thinnest...she went on to point out how THIN I was. My our friends didn't see the pic my mom was like "well, you probably don't recgonize her". I just looked at them, looked at my mom, smiled and said "I rather be fat and happy than skinny and miserable" and walked out. (I've literally gained 100lbs from the taking of that pic...no, I am not proud, but you will not embarass me in my home). Ok, I think I'm done ranting now...sorry LOL

FSIL has ordered E.L.F. before with no problem and she likes the stuff. Carolina is actually a radio DJ here in NY (Z100) and they've been plugging E.L.F. for a WHILE. The cupon code is her name, basically tells them you heard about it on the radio. If you placed an order directly with the site, I wouldn't worry, like I said, FSIL hasn't had ANY problems.

I'm trying this out as well...I was wondering what headings you use on the different pages...So far I have "Bridal Party" and "Music" and I'm not sure what else....any suggestions?

ME - Karina, I know the Cancun Palace puts on a fire dancer show YouTube - Fire Show at the Cancun Palace. Is there a way to use that vendor, so we are still using Palace Resorts vendors? I know that the fire show would have to take place outside and I'm sure that other guests at the resort will see it and stop and watch, and I have no problem with that. I just think that it would be an amazing experience for our guests. If this is not something I can do using Palace Resorts vendors, then can I bring in my own outside vendor?

UGH! If you're at the Moon Palace, it's not an option ME - I have a question. I've read about people people getting married in Mexico and having fire dancers as enteretainment during the reception. I wasn't sure how to find out abut this, so I figured I'd ask you and you might know. We wanted to explore this and the cost involved. Is this something you'd be able to help us with? THEM - Desiree, I checked with the resort and they have informed me that we do not have this kind of option for our receptions. We do not have any vendors at our Weddings Department that can provide this service. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Have a fabulous day! FU Fabulous day! I'm annoyed! I'm going to tell them that I know the resorts in the chain do fire dancers as an evening show. So I should be able to use them. Also, if they don't have a vendor to do what I want, I should be allowed to bring in a outside vendor.

Kong is a good idea...but if your dog has a short attention span, it might not work. If it took more than 15 min to get the treat out my Daisy would get bored and leave it...that is, until she ripped the kong up...they aren't so indestructable LOL

Maybe put the crate near a window so she can watch the birds? This is going to sound werid...Put the dog wisperer on or any other kind of nature show with animals. My two will usually watch soooo intentley, it's kinda funny and scarey
