Are you saying on non-wedding days that people came in w/o passes?) Girls, I am back from my wedding two weeks ago. My wedding was spectacular. Claudia is the sweetes girl. One I learn how to post my video I will post it. The room for the groom, it is on the package. I personally did not ask for one. I book a regular room and they upgrade me to a honeymoon suite.
  2. You can take a CANCUN public bus that will take you to Walmart. The bus # 2says WALMART IN THE FRONT. You just ask at the hotel where the bus stop is. It is around the corner. The fare is about 6.50 mexican pesos. Quote: Originally Posted by PhillyBride09 Hey...Does anyone know how far the Walmart is from the resort, and how you get there? I am really dreading haing to drag a million bags down there. I'm already going to have alot with my OOT bags and it's contents. I know I am just being lazy, but what else is new!! LOL So if anyone knows how far it is, i would love some info!! :-) Thanks Girls!

Of my side of the family who's attending is my old brother, a half older brother, my mom, my daughter (flower girl), my boys ages 2 and 9 who one will be ring bearer. The second question is who gives the bride away? Would this person be the one who walks me down the aisle?? I am having my son walk my down the aisle, and he and my mother will give me away. My father lives out the country so he will not be attending.

She still has to take a couple more inches off the side and hem it. But I go next week for the 3rd. This is the 1st fitting This is the 2nd (this morning) You look so good in that dress. Great shape.

I am hiring a full mariachi band, I will have them play during the ceremony and continue at the cocktail hour.

Any feedback would be great! I am including Hangover Helper in my OOT bags. The spanish name is La Rapidita. These are very good for hangovers. I am originally from Dominican Republic and that is what everyone takes to prevent hangovers.
  7. I love your picture. It is very romantic.

Even my brother was impressed, said that it looked like we were sitting in front of a backdrop... Ohh I want you to see them now that I've talked them up so much!! Does this work: Flickr: Photos & Video from dawnandchriswedding When I click it says I don't have access to it. I really want to see Claudia's pictures, she is my photographer.

I took an informal poll of my friends, to find out why they haven't send it back, and it ranged from "I thought my wife did it", "You knew we are coming", "you already know we aren't coming", or...this is the best one..."I liked your boarding pass invite so much, i didn't want to tear off the post-card". It would be different if I thought that all the people that didn't RSVP are no's - but I've run into a few of them recently, and they said they were still deciding to come. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! I've put a lot of work into the OOT bags...based on what I knew was my count - if that changes....then some of those late rsvp'ers might not be getting koozies, pashmina's and sudoku books..and frankly it serves them right!!!! Are you experiencing this too? I believe we are all experiencing the same. I sent 75 invites. I have only received 6 responses back. I know over 60 people are going. This weekend I will call those that are still not sure if they are going because of the increase in airfare.

Without further adieu here is my Passport to Love!! Yari great job. I love it. I did passport invites and I am also doing a passport welcome letter, but I love yours. Congratulations.

I have seen pics and it is gorgeous but I don't know where I saw them... maybe someone on here has some. All of the rooms have balconies. Our jacuzzi was ON our balcony! And they are all pretty large. The first floor ones have hammocks which is pretty cool. Here is one from my uncle's room and then the one from mine: Yep, it's on the balcony!! But no one can see you... it's kinda in a corner... hard to explain but if you look to the pic above, it's all the way to the right. We were totally going to do a neked swim but just never got around to it!! There are other DJ options. I think that Kat is bringing her IPOD which is honestly what I wish we would have done. There was a 'MC' at the reception who basically ran the show and if we had just given him our IPOD, I think he would have done a better job. She should be back soon so she can give you her insight on that. I also think that Dreams has a DJ option but I think that it was pretty expensive. Gosh, the time went by SO fast. If I had to guess, I would say that the eating part took around an hour and then the dancing and stuff was the remainder. I really think that they kinda jipped us with the time though because ours started about an hour late and seemed to end about 1/2 hour late only. O-well! We had SO much fun afterwards in the lobby bar that no one really minded moving. I think that if you just tell him NOT to repeat songs you'll be fine. After the third repeat i got a little bridezilla on his ass and it seemed to stop! We didn't have an 'official' welcome dinner or rehearsal. Actually, I would recommend a bit of a rehearsal though because no one really knew what to do!! It turned out fine because everyone basically knows how weddings work but after the ceremony, me and Chris walked back down the aisle and had no idea where were supposed to go!!! We just kinda wandered around!! We did have an unofficial welcome cocktails... aka all 40 of us met in the bar and drank them out of booze! It was awesome!! I went down to concierge with the attached form and highlighted the bottom part where it says that it's complimentary when booking a Honeymoon Suite category for a minimum of 7 nights or if 5 rooms are reserved for a minimum of 3 nights at any room category. We meet both of those requirements and in the Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package description, it lists Honeymoon Package. They really didn't give me a hard time about it. I was very insistent! Yea, we used the jacuzzi in the spa for a bit. It was just so damn hot... She was actually supposed to wait and do the bubbles AFTER the ceremony but they were definitely bubbling during the whole thing! It was really pretty though! I have an AWESOME koozie guy if anyone is interested!! Thanks for the review and the pictures.

Welcome back, Relax and take all the time you need. I can't wait for your review and pictures, since my wedding is almost here.
  17. Congratulations to both of you on your wedding day.
