  2. I found this article helpful for adding rounded corners to your photos in photoshop: matthom / Fast rounded corners in Photoshop I used this on my map of cabo on my boarding pass ticket holder. It made it look a lot nicer. Ill post all my work when i complete it all.
  3. E-bay has a ton of dresses... they may have one like the one you had! You can select to buy it now and have it a day! Good luck, hang in there! All things happen for reasons... maybe you'll love your new dress even more:)
  4. Atlantis is pretty cool, it is expensive. I would recommend taking a bag of snacks and drinks if you can. Its crazy expensive even in the small stores off the resort. I was there in April 2005. The new section was not built yet when i was there. The on site pools are nice, i didnt think the beach was that nice. We stayed at the pools. There are places to eat and shop within walking distance of the resort too. There might be an all inclusive deal there now, i am not sure.. We're flying out of Vancouver to the Grand Palladium in Mexico and I search all the different websites twice a week to see if there's any price changes. So it would be great if there was some website that would alert me of price changes. Anyone know of one? Try Yapta.com, you can save flights in your "my trips" and then if the price drops it will email you. I just starting using it today.
  10. Are you using MS Word? It could also be a printer setting, sometimes printers have margin settings saved in them too(although i think its mostly laser printers). I would bet its the setting in the software.

My whole house has is electric, its actually kinda nice because each room has its own baseboard heater wth thermostat and for rooms that i am not in that much, i turn it off or way down. My basement has electric as well but when i gut it all and refinish it i am going to put in a pellet stove, these are efficient and safe, tons of heat. Theres all sorts of new solar powered heating options too. I wouldnt rule out a house just because it has electric heat.
  12. Has anyone heard of yapta(Your Amazing Personal Travel Assistant). Yapta - Track Airfares, Save Money I heard it on the radio this morning driving to work. It tracks prices for flights. Here is an article about it: How-to-Get-Money-Back-When-Airfares-Drop: Personal Finance News from Yahoo! Finance Seems like a great way to save, but of course as the article notes: as soon as the airlines see a spike in refunds they will probably change their policy.

For us that was the major reason we had a DW - we didn't want a big wedding and the only way to do that without pissing people off was to do a DW. This is my main question then, what is everyones experience so far on this topic. Do you not invite everyone and then do those not invited get mad, or are they understand since its a DW. We were thinking of not inviting any cousins since most of them are older and already have kids plus we have at least 20 cousins between the 2 of us. I dont want to invite all 200+ family and friends, knowing many of them will say no, but what if more than you plan on coming say yes. Kinda defeats one of the purposes of DW. I just dont want to upset anyone if i dont invite them. Any suggestions?
  16. There are so many destinations, you will have to do some research but theres plenty of threads to read and people to help. Best of luck planning!

What if you want a small wedding and dont want all guests there since you want to have an intimate wedding, this method of etiquette is not going to work. If you invite for example: 200 guests but then end up with 100 replies, that might be way more than the 50 you originally budgeted for and planned everything for. I think if you want a small wedding, you just have to make a cut, some are just not going to be invited to the DW but will be to your reception party when you return home. I know it might hurt some people s feelings but not everyone can make everything. You cant please everyone anyhow. You can just hope they will be understanding. This has been an ongoing family discussion for me as well. I believe there are other threads that discuss issues like this.
