Thanks Jennifer and 1Kpaine! I think I figured it out - I'll have my first dance right after the ceremony - on the beach and save just the speeches for the restaurant. We're apparently alone in the restaurant for the 1st hour (dinner starts at 5:30) so I'll have the speeches all done within this time. If you have other suggestions though - I'd love to hear them! Hi All, I'm getting married on the 25th of November at the Akumal - so it's coming up! Very excited but the stress level is going up a little. I had a question in regards to the Reception. I'm having the dinner at Frutos Del Mar and was hoping to do my first dance, speeches and father/daughter dance there. Have any of you done all these activities at the restaurant itself? Yuritzia is suggesting that I do a cocktail party after the dinner, but it seems a bit pricy with the DJ and the $24 per person per hour...

Hi, I use boi-oil twice a day on a scar that I have on my hand and my elbow. Frankly, I haven't seen much of a difference but it's certainly great at hydrating! What seems to be working is a silicone patch that I purchased through my therapist (there may be something like that at the pharmacy. I paid $5 for a little piece). You stick the silicone patch on your scar overnight and it really makes a difference!

I'm also getting married at the Akumal, on November 25th, 08. They offered me the choice of the Frutos Del Mar or the Dolce Vita for the reception. I chose Frutos Del Mar because the menu, but now I'm a bit hesitant because of Sunsierra's comments! Should I change restaurants?
