  1. Sorry to hear that. That really sucks. I know it's a long shot, but also try calling the pawn shops and then ask if you can email or fax a pic? Maybe someone that works there will have access to email or they may even have a fax machine. You'll be able to get the pic out to as many places...Being robbed totally sucks. Glad your ok.
  2. Welcome to the forum. Sorry, no advice on Mexico. Good luck though!

Mishi- That's awesome. I appreciate all advice. I will pm you. Thanks! We have also booked the first half of our trip and are staying 6 days at Ku, just rec'd confirmation. I forgot to add we've had our website up. But I feel like it was a waste of money since people are still txt'ing me with questions and hardly anyone has signed in nor visited. WTF. I'm having everyone rsvp on our website in lieu of them sending rsvp cards. All of our guest have access to the internet, so I figured this wouldn't be a problem. But now I'm wondering if I did the wrong thing. Oh well, too late now. But have any of you or have any of you known of anyone that has nixed sending in an rsvp card and just had everyone do it online? I should add that the invite will have a rsvp card that provides the date to rsvp and website with passwords. Good luck guys! Here's to happy planning!
  4. My fmil LOVES Jack Bauer so much that my fi gave her this action figure for Christmas. She loved it! We had some fun with him.... for some reason even though I rotate and save he's till upside down. I guess it's because he's a kick ass super hero!
  5. I know of friends that have done it and thought it was great. They were also people that should be doing the counseling before hand kwim? We have not gone through counseling but have talked extensively about how things can go wrong and what to look out for and what is important in a relationship. We've both been married before to people we should not have been with and we both took the time out to reflect on what happened and how to avoid repeating past mistakes. We also both had marriage counseling during previous marriages and were able to take that information and make sure we were proceeding in the right direction in our relationship. However, if you have not had such experience I feel counseling is a wonderful tool to focus on what it takes to have a positive relationship. Communication is the key in any relationship.
  6. Congratulations and good luck!
  7. We have the same date! My photographer helped me choose the best time to take advantage of killer sunset pictures. We are starting the ceremony at 6:45 pm and then will have some pics with just the two of us just before sunset and then right at sunset we will head towards the reception area where we will have more sunset pics. This was based on an 8:08 sunset. Check out the times for the sunset for your location, maybe that will help you decide.
  8. forgot to add that I am waiting for my invites to arrive...yay!

  10. Fun revived thread- When I was in my 20's and worked in Baltimore's Inner Harbor I met and saw celebs. Lots of baseball, basketball and football players. My favorite was Rick Fox, he was a hottie back in the day. Mario Joyner and Chris Rock came into a store I worked in and gave me tickets to their concert and then they partied with us afterwards. Then Mario tried to make the late night bootie call...lol..no happenings! I helped Bo Jackson, remember Bo knows?, with men's silk boxers when I worked in V.S. (this is all in the 90's). Brian Boitano (sp?0, a few others I can't remember. Mike Tyson, was next to Barak O'Bama at a caucus party after he became senator Wyclef Jean (very short) helped Donna Summers assistant pick out her panties (hehehe) chick from Inside Edition, Deborah Norville Stevie Wonder Randall Cunnigham and other Eagles when I was just out of highschool Pharell - met a couple of years ago at a club...my friends could not stop me from saying "he thinks I'm preetttyyyy" (me-buzzed) saw Nicole Ritchie while she was preggos but did not look big whatsoever, and Joel Madden. She sat down in a chair next to me, but I didn't care to say anything. Theresa Heinz Kerry in Georgetown, swear she was on something Dave Chapelle, we talked and he told me his whole itinerary this past summer And my all time most favorite ever!!!! George Michael!!!! I didn't meet him, but I got to see him from the front row and I was standing directly in front of him and the tele-prompter (sp?) (I knew his lyrics better than he did!). I smiled and I swear he smiled back. It has been a dream since 1987 to see him up close and it totally happened this summer. Of course he was high, but he can so sang his butt off! There's more sightings, but I can't recall the rest. Oh~ Genuwine, before he was Genuwine and still living in D.C. He serenaded me in a club and we hung out a couple of times nothing major.
  11. I don't know if what I'm posting is relevant, but I checked out an instant polaroid printer in Target that is supposed to work with any camera.Sells for $99 and it prints 2 by 3 pictures. I was wondering if this would be a good idea in place of a Polaroid camera? It is also compatible with certain phones. Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer - Black/ Silver : Target
  12. I dredging this up again because I am a up and decompressing after two friggin english papers. This post made me laugh. It's a time where you wish you had a payday to throw back at her crazy arse. Oh, well...all turned out well
  13. I can't think of anything I want. I did want Guitar Hero World Tour, but then saw it Costco for $169 and snagged it! With the wedding coming up and all of the furniture we've purchased lately, I'm pretty good. Ok, maybe a case of Scrumpy's hard apple cider..it's the yummiest.

  15. I love them! Make sure you have a back up because if you are anything like me your feet are going to kill you!. Just looked at the second ones and I love those too! Wear both of them. One for the wedding and one for the reception.
  16. I really love it! You did an amazing job, you should be so proud of yourself when you receive the finished product. Go with Amy's suggestion of beige if you are worried about smudging the white cover. Glad to know what to do when you have a mac.
  17. Anything at all by George Michael on the Faith album or even Wham! LOVE HIM!!!!
  18. Thanks guys! My fi just finished licking the last envelope and they will finally go out in the mail tomorrow. He said "it's official now," and I'm thinking it was official when I plopped down 1/2 the cost of the photographer for a deposit. LOL! I can't wait for people to receive them.
  19. Very nice do. I agree your eyes are beautiful especially with the contrast of the dark hair.
  20. That's an awesome gift! My FI would flip out if I gave him something like that. That will be an insane game. Good luck with flights. Sorry, I don't know anyone on the Eagles now. One of my friends parents is friends with Ron Jarworski? sp? but that's not the same thing I guess.
