  1. I booked my photographer back in August, but thought I would share the info. since finding Key West info. is really hard to do on this site. Here's the link to the awesome Julie Ambrose of Studio Julie: Studio Julie Photography
  2. I chose #4. They're great as a std, which you can go casual as a theme. It looks romantical and something you would do on the beach. A great opener for your wedding.
  3. Damn! I told my bf that one day she would show up in someone's pics! LOL. That's what you call quality.
  4. I just had to do that for my FI. He hates that acronym. I've been super swamped, but I thought I would share my std just in case it gives anyone else an idea. I'm happy with the way they turned out...semi-dyi. I gave ideas and the creative person put them into action and created the final piece. I feel like I owe the site since I've stalked everyone else's wonderful ideas, but I just did not have the time to do a diy'er. I worked with an etsy artist Crista, of Dazzle0604, who created my std's and she is also doing my invites. She is very patient to say the least. She will hear you out and work with your vision. I wanted a very casual std that reminded me of what we do when in Key West...which is wear flip flops. The flip flops have a magnetic strip on the back . They were very reasonably priced imo, since I could not make them myself. with envelope background and with our names no envelope liner background
  5. Aw...dang. I've only seen Key Largo Grande from the outside as we pass on the highway. I've been meaning to stop in and check it out. Have you looked on tripadvisor.com? I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say the address, so if the moderator wants to remove this I'm sorry in advance. I've found the site really helpful in first hand account reviews of hotels. Sometimes you will find a basher who is trying to give the place a negative rating to make their place look even better. So read each review with a grain of salt. Also, sidestep.com is awesome as a search engine that will help narrow down your search by comparing websites deals from which you can then go to that website and book a deal. When in Key Largo I have not been impressed with the beaches for swimming, but then again I'm not a swimmer. I've read that Bahia Honda Park is a great place for that kind of thing though, even though it's further south than what you're destination. I have no idea about the other one. Sorry. Oh, btw, my fil's thought The Islander was not bad. It's on Isla Morada I think.
  6. I think both of those places are great. You will have great choices for entertainment with either one. I know some people like the Cleveland Park area and Dupont Circle. I work in Dupont Circle often and it's entertaining. Good luck with your search.

  8. I know! Someone in my class passed it on so I thought I would pass it on too. Just in case anyone knows someone this could help.
  9. Thanks for this post! I was just freaking out wondering what I should put in the OOT bags.
  10. I for one am not offened by your question. You need someone to turn to or you are going to be miserable. I feel bad that you have to go through this and hope you can work it out because unless the issue is addressed it will just keep getting worse. I agree with many points the ladies have posted but would like to add a few of mine since my friends, family and I have had some conversations like this in the past. -My FI has said that a man has to feel comfortable and if something is bothering him then it is hard for him to perform. The internet girls could be a release for him since perhaps he has not addressed what is making him uncomfortable and also because he needs a release due to the frequency of relations. Definitely try to get to the bottom of what is going on in his mind and try not to feel like it is you or how attractive you are. -You could schedule the sex session, but it could put even more pressure on the situation because it has now become a major issue. Perhaps talk first and then schedule?? I think you should definitely jump start it but understand that he may not be able to "rise" to the situation because he is not comfortable. Keep trying even if you find that he cannot carry through with it and perhaps it will ease him into being more comfortable. -I like the just doing it everyday idea. I think it does help to know there is no option. -We do it every single day and I can tell you it's exhausting and he has the understanding that I will just lay there some of the time because I am not a rabbit as well. But we both came to this conclusion that we would always have sex because we had been in situations where we hardly ever had sex with our exes and found once you get into the routine of not having it that it is really hard to get back into the routine of having sex. But neither one of us loved our exes so our situation was not going to work out anyway. You love your honey and you can make it work!
  11. Hey all my college ladies and gents. I just wanted to pass on some info. that helped me save some money on my books this semester. The website Chegg.com - Cheap Textbook Rentals. Search for Used Textbooks and Rent College Textbooks. sells and rents college books at a much lower cost than you can find them used in a typical college bookstore. I purchased from my college bookstore 2 used books for $170. I then found them on the Chegg website and with rental cost and s/h I spent $55! I returned my other books and was able to save $$$$. That money can now go towards part of the purchase for one person's plate at my reception! LOL
  12. Oh yeah... I looked at the O.K. pier but at the time I was calculating my guest list I had 25 pp and they said my group was small potatoes..LOL (I'm paraphrasing here). So we are having our wedding and reception at the Hyatt with the ceremony on their Blue Mojito "beach" and the reception in the Marquessa room.
  13. Thanks ladies for the suggestions. I did a test lay (hehe) in several stores today and chose an awesome mattress. I finally landed in Sleepy's where they do a Kindgsdown body diagnostics which takes information about your size, weight and body ache issues and then processes the information to determine your mattress type. Supposedly this is based on some scientific googlemuck which I think is a great gimmick. I will say that the bed that was recommended was definitely my match...ahh...if only dating had been this easy! I chose the bodysystems green mattress, which is a mattress with medium firmness/softness that has individually wrapped coils with a lifetime warranty. So, I figured I will never need to buy another mattress again..yay! Ladies, this is the most comfortable mattress every. I tried the Tempurpedic medium firmness with the adjustable frame, but it was even more expensive than the one I purchased. It was comfortable, but I would have to buy the adjustable frame feature to reduce pressure points in my hips and back. I also tried a Simmons bed and a Select Bed again. So to you ladies. I can't wait to sleep on it Thursday night
  14. Oh crap! I have to get on the ball! So far here's what I have somewhat finished: Wedding ceremony/reception- booked with a deposit paid for hotel room for me, fi and our 2 kids booked DJ-Soundwaves booked photographer-Studio Julie Waiting for my dress that I had to exchange for size to come in Purchased shoes Purchased most of my makeup, but have to wait to fade b4 I can buy my true shade Purchased FI outfit inc. shoes Picked out std's and invites and now waiting for them to be made by someone who is crafty...meaning not me. Picked out ideas for centerpiece, hair, makeup look, cocktail gathering that's it and it seems like I have sooo much more to do. Good luck May brides!
  15. That's hilarious. Priceless would have been the groom whacking the head off.

I thought I had won the battle until I came home later that day and found that the sneaky bastard had come back and removed it! I'm still bitter about that. So, while I love the Kingsdown I want to see if people with my situation have had any luck finding a good mattress. I've not found any affordable options
  17. I know! We were thinking the same thing last night. Where is your wedding reception?
  18. That sounds great if you can sleep now. I'll look into it. Thanks!
