  1. It is so hard to save, I know... but don't worry, everything will fall in to place. Maybe you won't have to move the wedding, maybe you can just find different ways to save...you will figure it out and all will work out in the end...

I was a little worried about pictures but our photographer knows what they're doing and he said it would be fine. Besides, our TTD is at noon so it will be nice to get some day and night pictures. OMG! You are the weather Goddess! I am just kidding, thank you so much for that information, it set my mind at ease. Where did you find that? Online? That is so helpful! I guess our dinner will begin around sunset which will be awesome because I think we are going to do our first dance during dinner... I thought it would be a good time to do it... don't ya think?
  3. I am so sorry to hear this... Take one day at a time and remember to breathe... I will keep your FI in my prayers.
  4. Okay, this may seem totally random, but does anyone know what time the sun sets in Riviera Maya at Gran Bahia? Okay, I know it would not be the same time everyday, but our wedding in June 27... our ceremony is at 5, so I was wondering if taking pics at 5:45 or 6pm is too late, if it will be getting dark... I don't know if it is different than Jersey? (well, I know it is different than Jersey, but sun wise!)
  5. Hey Martha... I think I know how to put you to sleep... watch "Catch and Release" with Jennifer Garner... then follow it up with "Love in the time of Cholera"... I am sure you will snooze in no time!!!lol On a serious note, I hope you can get yourself on schedule... that is the worst...I think reading helps tire your out, and you are getting knowledge at the same time... and I love Jennifer Garner, that was just a horrible movie, and Love in the Time of Cholera is supposed to be a great book... but the movie? ehhh
  6. Welcome... to being a BDW addict!
  7. Congrats and welcome! good luck planning!
  8. That sounds like a great review! I love hearing things like that, they make me feel less stressed... is that possible?
  9. Isn't it funny? I realized this morning some other things I realized from college... we NEVER call sneakers "tennis shoes" like other people, or a winter hat is a hat not a "toboggan", and a shopping cart is a cart and not a "buggy"...it's so weird how things vary from place to place!
  10. They look so good! I like to use the fake ones, I am sure I would love those!
  11. I would tell her to call or apply to different districts... becoming a teacher is so complicated, or so it seems... I am trying and it is like hurdling brick walls... but she will get there! Definitely call different districts and see if they have openings...
  12. Slade wants on her... the whole concept it weird... I haven't gotten to really watch the show, but I catch bits and pieces, and the other night he was pissed that she was on dates with the other guys! I mean, isn't that the point of the show??! Date my ex?! LOL.... too funny... People just like being famous... and I love trash TV too... I DVRed Rock of Love like it was my JOB!
  13. Oh that's terrible! My friend and I were just talking about kidney stones and she said many women say they are worse than labor... I have no experience with this, but that stinks! I will keep him in my prayers!
  14. Okay, I am from Jersey, and when I went to school in WV, I found out there are a lot of things that are purely Jersey... especially Italian foods and things of that nature... we say cawfee and dawg, and a drawer is a draw... Now, for foods... I worked in an Italian restaurant and even if you are not Italian you have to say them right... mozzerella is "Mut-sa-rell", Manicotti is "man-a-gut", Calamari is "colamad" (sounds like that), ricotta is "ra-gut".... omg, these look so funny spelled out, but I kid you not, some things if you say them how they are spelled, people think it's weird...This is too funny! Now I keep thinking of things!! Best one "Jeet yet? No jew?" lol
  15. I go to NJCU... Thank you so much for the encouraging words... I slowed down today and took a deep breath, and realized I will be alright no matter what happens. I just have to take everything one day, and one class at a time... it is so easy to get caught up in the stress, it is ridiculous!!!
  16. It sucks.... my FI has all sorts of family problems as well on his mom's side and it has made things really difficult. If I were you, I would just accept what it is, call her and ask her, is this true? I would have appreciated the news coming from you.... don't get to angry though, this is obviously how these people function. Make sure to tell FI that you love him and that's why you guys are so special because YOU will always be there no matter what... and that is important now, and on your wedding day.... best of luck, I know what it's like to be in that rough situation...
  17. I just watched your shlide show! I love ittt!!! You look like you had a great time, and that is awesome!!!
  18. It's just so hard... I am like, what am I going to do/be? I sound so silly, but it's true... I feel like I need to stumble upon something.
  19. That stinks! But... look at the up side... at least you didn't lose it or something! You still have it and you're lucky for that! And don't worry, you will get it back, but I feel your pain.
  20. Today was the first day of the semester for what should be my senior year of my undergrad. I am an English Lit. major and was PILED with a tons of books and work for the semester and I freaked... I was thinking about going to grad school after I finish my degree for teaching, but now I am not so sure... I am tired of being in school and kind of want to find my "path" or "way" in the work world... I just feel so unsure about everything! How am I supposed to know what I want to do? Does anyone have any advice or nice words? I had such a stressful day...... not to mention I stepped on a bee and it stung the crap out of my foot... I am a singer and that is my passion, but I know I need to pay the bills... I have been back and forth and torn between everything... any advice or kind words will be welcome.... Thanks so much!
  21. We used wedding paper divas and are having guests RSVP via our website... It is actually really easy... and we included a card with the website on it...
  22. Okay, I am going through, or went through something very similar... I am in my last year of my undergrad, and I recieved a grant. I also have to pay $265 a month for health insurance. You could marry legally early and get on his insurance, but... then his income is considered on your financil aid... it SUCKS I know... This is going to effect me when trying to get financial aid for grad school.... but, it is what it is... that's the way things work...
