We have decided to have our AHR catered (instead of DIY) so I have not paid attention to the posts or done any research on making menu cards. Once we decide on the (buffet) menu, do we send out the menu cards with the invitations or is one displayed on a table at the reception? TIA!

Absolutely beautiful. I think I have two favorites. One with you all the way in the water with the horse and the other with you on the beach with the horse (by yourself) with your dress up and we can see your garter. I missed the hair flip pic (I tried hard not to blink, I promise) so I have to watch again (poor me -lol) to see it.

FI and i visited our first AHR venue today. They do not have any music hook-up equipment. What do I do now? We were planning on doing iPod or CD's on our own. Now we need to look at DJ's unless you wonderful ladies have any other suggestions. I may be forced to show up with a boom box on my shoulder in order for everyone to dance - lol.

I bought my dress a while ago. Since then, I have put on some weight and cant even get into my dress. I am now exercising (especially on my Total Body Gym b/c I want my back to look SWEET) to lose the weight. I feel that if you do the back exercises to tone it up, you have time. You just have to be consistant b/c of your time constraints.

What size is the paper? I think my next task will be invitations. I want to try DIY but I am not too creative so I want something somewhat easy to do. I like your layout but I can't tell the size.

Okay ladies, I was on here religiously for months during the Fall last year. Planning, posting, questioning, downloading, etc...I took a break so that I could work on my household budget for 2008 (to help pay for this darn wedding). Well, I've got that worked out and now it is time to get back with the planning. I just feel like I am lost (again). I now have to go through my planning suitcase (it is no longer small to fit in a notebook) to find out where I was when I left off and where I need to pick up and roll-on. The newbies claim being overwhelmed, now I am remembering that feeling...Thanks for letting me vent.

Welcome to the forum. My turn for the shameful plug....I am getting married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at Beaches Boscobel, a child and single friendly resort. Down the street is Beaches' sister company, Sandals, a couples only resort. I have some single guests and my daughter at Beaches for a few days, then my FI and I are honeymooning at Sandals. We also have some friends staying at Sandals who we will be able to spend some time with after the wedding. Anywoo, just to give you an idea of cost: 2 people at Sandals Saturday thru Wednesday Flying from NC $2500ish or 1 person at Beaches (sharing room with others) Saturday thru Wednesday Flying from NC $550ish + airfare (not purchased yet - around $500)

Watching his show, it usually ends by saying the human is doing the wrong things. Sometimes it has dogs that have suffered a traumatic event that has changed their behavior but it is most often the result of us humans relating to our animals as our baby - or humanizing them. ***raising hand *** (I was so guilty with my lab/retriever Oscar, "who" passed this previous March). I love the show, he is amazing. He says we can love them as part of the family; however, they are dogs and should be treated as such.
