Well thankfully I don't ever have to worry if I'm near my husband. Hiccups are caused in your diaphragm. To quote him "usually caused by a spasm of the diaphragm muscle caused by irritation of the phrenic nerve". So he pinches this one nerve in my neck and holds it and they stop almost instantly. But if I'm not near him take one gigantic breathe out and they will stop (also learned by him). So Carla, I was wondering if you've ever had someone check that...b/c my guess would be thats whats wrong with you and maybe you could get it checked out and maybe stopped

I wash my sheets every weekend too. I also heard about the toilet thing. It actually grosses me out to use public restrooms b/c there is no lid. So I try to stand by the door and use my foot and then run? Haha! I'm weird. It is gross to think about. I clean everything once a week except daily stuff like dishes. But that way I tend to think its not as dirty. Sunday is our cleaning day. We clean everything. About the hot water thing...I use only cold. I figure the heat of the dryer will clean anything that didn't make it. But I can't justify using hot water when it takes so much more energy to heat it. Oh well.

I have the ones halfway. I don't have the spinning problem b/c I had my rings put together. So they are stuck. So they do not spin at all. I did have the spinning problem when they weren't together though.

Yep. I went Veggie this year. The impact it has on the earth and how many animals you save by going veggie!!! And after I learned what they do to animals. OMG! I cried and puked. I started Vegan but I live in a really really small town. So they jack up the prices on vegan products. So it's too expensive for me to buy it and limited choices. Instead I do like Jessica. I try to buy non-cruelty items. One of my husband's patients has chickens and brings us the eggs. I stopped drinking milk. I eat no meat. I just try to keep the dairy to a minimum. I thought I started a thread a while back asking if anyone was vegetarian. I can't remember. Haha. We should totally share our favorite veggie recipes!!!

Be prepared this is kinda like my review for the Wii Active....sorry if I ramble!: So I remember someone asking a while back about the Wii Fit and someone mentioning Wii Active. My DH's birthday is coming up so I started looking into it. I read hundreds of reviews on how Active is a much better workout than the Wii Fit. Well we bought it today and did a workout. I had sweat literally pouring off of me. My shirt was soaked. We had to put on our exercise clothes to start b/c the thigh holder thing kept pulling my shorts down! The Wii Active actually has a 30 Day challenge which is what we are doing but it has so much more. You can custom make your workout or choose pre-mades broken down into a full workout, cardio, legs and lungs etc. There is so much to do. Not only that but you don't have to stop it keeps your heart rate up. No finishing the game and then choosing another. It keeps on going. You start the workout and it doesn't stop just goes to the next excercise. For example you start with a run and move to squats, bicep curls, lunges and end with a run/walk. There is no choosing the next exercise. You can custom build your workout though and choose which ones. But not during the workout. It comes with a resistance band and a leg holder for the nunchuck which is awesome. It is compatible with the balance board but the board is not necessary at all We might try it tomorrow with the board. But I'd rather not use it at all. I made my DH do the workout b/c he was a collegiate athlete, his parents coach track and he does physical therapy in his practice. He is also picky about workout machines and how some are bad for your body. He was very impressed. He was soaked after we were done. So if anyone is looking at buying the Wii Fit I urge you to check out the active first. I LOVE it after one workout. It has on 2 day workout rest one day and then 2 days. You can also do a dual workout and workout at the same time as your partner. You each have your own trainer. OOh which reminds me they are so supportive. It gives encouragement the entire way and if you mess up it's not that annoying sound the fit does. It just says "I don't think you completed your rep...its ok lets try on our next one." So great! The only thing it doesn't have is to weigh you. Yeah that kinda sucks but I have a scale that I can use for that. Also you can set your goals. It lets you take a nutrition survey and gives tips for that as well. It has a journal to track your progress and tells you how many calories you're burning as you go. And has graphs. And the other plus is it is cheaper. The Wii Active is only is only 60 bucks compared to Fit which I believe is 80 or 90 I'm not sure I'm sure someone else knows for sure. I think the Wii Fit is a fun game...but to actually workout I think the Wii Active is great. I'm going to add it to my yoga routine. But what I also want to know if anyone else has this and what they think. Do you hate it or love it ETA: Sorry for going on but I love this workout!

We use to have a book club on MDC. It was fun and then it faded off when I think people got a little busy and so noone discussed the books after we read it. If anyone is still interested I would love to do it again. I think we read some great books. And I am still reading 4 -5 books a week. And would love to discuss them with people.

I agree. I totally don't see her as a gold digger. She is making bigger bucks than her fiance. Shes got her show and her clothes and her appearances etc. Yeah this baby is going to force her to grow up but for the better. If she wanted to be a gold digger she would of stayed at the mansion.

Just a thought on strollers. The light/umbrella ones have lower handles and can hurt your back after a while. The jeep is great with high handles but my favorite stroller of all time (i've used a lot) is the MacLaren. It is the BEST! I swear. They came out with a new line. But the handles are super high. It folds down super small and has a strap to carry on your back so you can hold baby too. I can lug that baby up stairs with a baby in my arms. Just a thought if someone was looking for a lightweight. It even comes with a storage place underneath. The new line is a bit different but you can find the older ones other places. Anyways just thought I'd let you know if you were interested.

My previous bosses have a house cleaner (one of my best friends now) and she was mopping and then they bought a steam mop (not the shark). WOW! It is awesome. I watched her clean those floors in like half the time. Plus it dried pretty quick. Great for the crawling baby at the time. I want one so bad right now. The mop b/c of so much water was making the floor buckle in one spot. But the steam mop uses a certain amount of water and no chemicals. It's amazing.

She's 12 weeks along and hasn't had the wedding. They have to let out the bust not the stomach cause supposedly her boobs got bigger. The wedding is in 17 days. They also announced the name. Hank for a boy and Arianna or Kianna for a girl. Hef will be the Godfather. She called him and he said Oh my god and cried. Actually I love the GND and love kendra. My husband had to txt me this morning to let me know. I cried. I might have to stop watching b/c I"m going through some bad stuff TTC. I do think this will be good for her. Make her grow up some more. I also think Hank is good for her. You can see he loves her and is going to take care of her.

I'm allergic to alot of metals. I can't wear belts it is so bad. It touches my stomach gets a blister and itches like crazy. My rings were fine until I got them soldered together. When I went in, I told them that I'm allergic to alot of metals and what they would be using and they told me it'd be fine. Turns out not. I HAVE to take my rings off at night. If I wear them for too long of a period I have problems. So every night I take them off. If I stay home I usually don't put them on. I don't wear any jewelry except my rings. It kind of sucks. As long its white gold or real silver and no fake stuff in it I'm fine. My grandpa was the same way must of got it from him. You could be allergic but if it has never happened before with other jewelry then I say not.

Ooooh Oohh. Denver is my closest big city. I'm in SouthWest Colorado. But I would totally be in to drive up. I need advance notice but I would come. Let me know!

She was actually passed up by her Brother Edward VI who was 15 when he died. Lady Jane Grey was made queen for 9 days. Edward didn't want Mary queen b/c she was Catholic. However she rode in and executed her. That is also a movie which I love. Called Lady Jane Grey. And a funny piece of info is even though their Mothers hated each other Mary and Elizabeth are buried next to each other in a tomb. Which says something like "Sisters in hope and resurrection" Just weird irony i think.
