  1. We are hiring a cat sitter, like you all our friends and family will be with us so I couldnt ask the usual suspects. I thought about this way in advance and hired the cat sitter for a "trial run" when we went on our scouting trip. I wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and my "furry girls" were well taken care of. She did a wonderful job and I will be using her again for our mini vacation next month. I would suggest asking friends/family or your vet for recommendations of pet sitters in the area so you can meet with them and do a trial run to see how they get along with your pets etc. Wish you luck Im sure you will find someone great.

But seriously, SO cute and unique!!! Your guests are going to get a KICK out of it!!! I did keep it a surprise from him while she was working on it. Which was hard b/c I was so excited and wanted to show it to him. The day it arrived I went running in the bathroom like a little kid to hide and unwrap it so I could unveil it properly LOL. He really got a kick out of it when he saw it though so Im glad I kept it a secret.
  8. Those are so pretty. I want to make some now too, adding to our DIY lists but its worth it

I know a lot of places allow candles as long as they are in a glass hurricane or votive cup, but not an open pillar candle... Just a thought! How is your planning coming? HI Claire, No problem. I did ask Perla during my site visit about candles but didnt mention open flame b/c I hadnt thought of it yet. Good point Im going to ask her it could save me from buying these and not using them. I will wait until she responds to an email from earlier this week I bombarded her with questions on flowers and linens. LOL. Thanks for pointing that out though. COme to think if it they might not even stay lit outside. Looking forward to your email when you are all settled. Talk to you soon. Michele

The only downside is, only 20% of our invitees sent them back by the deadline... they might have been a little difficult for some people. My sister in particular tells me she feels so much pressure to be funny & witty on them so she hasn't sent hers yet. So cute. Wish I could get creative like that I bet some responses were great though.
  11. Love Actually-I introduced this movie to my fiance and this has become our must watch Christmas movie, we have watched it ever year since. He lent it to his friend last year and we both mentioned getting it back the other day or there might be hell to pay Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation are my other favorites both classics.
  12. And by help me find them I mean at a cheaper cost or something very similar. LOL b/c everytime I do a search the price just keeps getting higher. Im so in love with these Rosanna's Dauphine candlesticks you have no idea. But Im trying to find them at a better price or use one of the infamous coupon codes from amazon.com or cooking.com. I cant bear spending $40 x # of tables for these But I want them sooooo bad!!! Thanks all.
  13. These are so pretty. The less expensive ones would make great favors or favor holders.

Yeah those are definately angry eyes, that was a must for the cake topper to be complete. Anytime one of us is upset we say we have "angry eyes" and it usually makes us laugh and blow off what upset us in the first place. The cost was $100 more than I planned on but I wanted a custom made piece (which was comprable for other custom pieces I had seen) and I know I will keep this. Plus she was the only one who made a Potato Head so adorable, she was great. The etsy seller was NanjoDogz you can search by seller name on Etsy. If you want further info just PM me.
  15. Im so excited my cake topper finally arrived. My fiance and I have this inside joke with Mr and Mrs Potato Head so I decided to have a little fun and make it our cake topper. I was lucky enough to find a great woman on Etsy who worked with me to design the cake topper. She was so informative and made sure of everything I wanted down to the last detail. I couldnt of been happier with the outcome and I cant wait to get it on the cake, until then it stays in its box "not collecting dust." Check out my bling and matching green shoes and earrings Sorry the pics are so big I actually made them smaller
  16. This is gorgeous. I think you will be too wrapped up in your day to notice how hot the dress is, at least thats what I kept getting told when I went dress shopping. If you love it get it.
