  1. Oohhh that makes me feel a lot better. Thanks for confirming. Hhhhmmm do any of you have a timeline already or can help with mine. I dont know what to do then especially with only having the DJ for 4 hours. How should I lay everything out?

Hhhhmm wondering if I should ask her for a schedule or something.
  3. LOL Melissa your FI is too funny. Its true though you know we are all guilty of referring to one another as "my friends on the forum." hehehehehe So Perla confirmed the reception to be 4 hours long. I started freaking out b/c we have a 1 hour cocktail reception and no music, which I personally think is odd. When I asked my FI he said cocktail receptions are suppose to be quiet its a chance for guests to get to know one another and mingle. Do you think it will be odd to have a cocktail reception with no music? or am I just being a crazy person? I cant add a mariachi or anything it will put us over budget maybe I can do a CD player that the hotel will rent out to me for like $400.
  4. Stunning cake I love the pearl beading. The first cake topper I thought of was something vintage here are a few that I found that I thought could look nice or serve as inspiration. Most are from Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade

  8. I got these this weekend I was so excited when I saw them. They also have a pedicure set. I grabbed all the green ones I could find which was only 6 but hey good enough for me. I will search another Target when I can.
  9. You are not alone. I freak out constantly wondering if I made the right choice and if my guests will be happy. I know no matter how much I plan and put into things guests will have something to complain about (its in peoples nature) but I cant help but still freak. I think its also exactly what Becks said we arent there to see things for ourselves so we have to put our trust in a photo or word of mouth and hope its what we are looking for. Its tough but I think we can handle it or we wouldnt of followed through with a destination wedding in the first place. Melissa all packages are symbolic only. The legal ceremony is $900-1000 additional (cant remember the exact price right now) and that is why a lot of couples opt to marry at home first and have a symbolic at their destination (no one will know unless you tell them). We are having a legal ceremony is anyone else? I am curious what paperwork we need etc. I did print out the link from Paradisus on what you need I was just curious if anyone has actually spoken to Perla about this and I havent asked her yet, just going by the website link. Oh and Perla just got back to me today about the contract. Im not sure if she totally ignored my question but her response was "I can make any changes I want up to a week before the wedding after that no changes can be made." So I guess that means no contract? So confused.
  10. Everything looks amazing! Love your shoes. Congrats! La Panga is gorgeous cant wait to see the pictures when you return.
  11. Those look really nice they will both love them. Is that green fabric or paper you used as a layer I like it a lot. When are you giving the card to them? You mentioned you changed the MOH poem from a Thank You to a Will You, do have the original poem I thought it might be nice to include for my MOH.

They accept competitor's coupons, including JoAnn Fabrics. You can sign up on the website to be on the Joann fabric mailing list & get 40% off coupons emailed to you. You can select how much email you want to receive to minimize the number of emails you get from them. I picked to just ge the coupons. Morgan- You can get ACMore coupons online and print them out. On the main page click on the link that says "Click here for store coupons and flyers" then type in your zip and store listings will come up with a "coupon" option for you to print. Ive been using these religiously Oh you can also get them here Wow Coupons – Free Printable Retail Stores Coupon Codes with a whole bunch of other fun places to shop

I do like some of the BBB rings but I just checked and it seems they have only one size for the one I really like and you cant resize eternity bands. Boooooo!!! Im on the hunt though.
  16. Good Morning- I sent Perla an email the other day asking about a contract waiting to hear back I will let you know what she says. On another note both of your wedding websites are so fun. I have to admit I plagarized mine when I created it (Im not very good with words) thank god for the copy paste function hehehe. Before I put ours up I googled other wedding websites to see what I found helpful and fun and added that. I hope your FI changes his mine Im sure he will its a great place for your guests to get answers and updates.
  17. I suggest Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade. I bought my jewelry there they have so many unique gorgeous pieces you will be searching for days and trying to decide which one.
  18. I think you should go with the pink especially since you like it better and it goes with your pink theme. The teal looks great against it.
  19. Thanks everyone. I should take a look at the diamond district first. I think I was just a little turned off b/c I cant stand all of these guys trying to get your attention. I dont know how my FI survived it alone hehehehe. I did take a look at all of the websites and the www.WeddingRings.com site had some pretty amazing stuff I found at least 4 I wanted to try. Maybe I will swing by them first. How is bluenile? I checked out their site but wasnt sure about their return policy, customer service, etc. I will do a bit of research.

  21. No way! All of this at Old Navy what a great find on super cute stuff. Im going this weekend. Thanks for posting.
  22. Hi just wanted to thank everyone again for all your help. My FI and I went to Wedding Rings Originals and Michael C Fina this past Saturday. We decided to think things over before getting anything but he is getting his from MCF and Im getting mine from Wedding Ring Originals (figures we cant find something we both like from the same jeweler). Im getting an eternity band (3/4 around for sizing purposes) with milgrain to match my E-ring. I fell in love with soooo many it was tough. I was concerned b/c no wedding band will sit flush with my e-ring and I didnt want to wear it on my right hand b/c of this ugly callous I have and thats the only reason or else I would. So the owner of WRO showed me this setting almost identical to mine where the rings can sit flush and said he can change my current setting to look like the one he showed me. It wont change the look only if you flip it over. I was so excited!!! My FI are ordering this week we pushed it off and its crunch time so we need to get our butts in gear. I will post up our rings when we get them. Thanks again. Everyone is always so helpful here so I decided to get some help in my quest. Ive been searching for a micro pave wedding band and they arent easy to find. The image below is from Michael C Fina the Elizabeth Collection but I havent found too much else. Have you seen any other jewelry designers with a ring similar to this? Online or a Jewelry Shop in New York or New Jersey (will travel for bling hehehehe). I live in New York and my FI had my ring custom made at one of the shops in the diamond district. I was really trying to avoid having to have my wedding band custom made also but I fear I may have no choice. Thank you!!!!!!

I had only brought with me the song I wanted to walk down the isle to. Luckily the rest of our family was still at home when I found out so they were able to download the songs I wanted and bring with them when they came. Thank you so much. At least I know I will need at least 4 songs and a few extra just in case LOL. My FI and his BM want to walk down to the Imperial March from Star Wars. Im a good sport so I allowed it. I have a Mr. and Mrs. Potato head cake topper for goodness sake how could I not go along with it.
