  2. Yeah LeShay we got you before you left!!! You are so stress free I love it and you will have an amazing time. Everything will be perfect. Cant wait for your return to see it all pulled together and hear how fabulous it all was. Have a drink for all of us.
  3. OMG Rebecca its beautiful. Im assuming this is the one you were telling me about. Now you can get puppies hehehehe. Congrats!!!! Im so happy for you. Keep us in the loop.
  4. I have signed the petition but chose not to read the article. I get emotionally and physically angry after reading or seeing anything that involves the hurting of animals. I think its disgusting what some people are capable of doing!!

I choose the single drummer as I didnt want anything really loud and distracting during cocktail hour and wanted to give people a chance to talk but Im sure a full reggae band would be fun! The price per hour will be 350 USD +10% tax with one steel drum, if you want the one steel drum and sound system 450 USD +10% like for the cocktail, in fact they have as well a Regaee Band including the steel drums with sound system per 2 sets (2 hours) the prices will be 1700 USD +10% tax. If you want to book you can do this through me. Quote: Originally Posted by becks Hi Amy!!!!!! You ARE getting married a week before I am. SO very exciting!! How long are you staying after? I know we had a great time talking about our upcoming plans and FI's. We have to plan another get together with the rest of the girls soon.

  7. Janine your site looks great! Thanks for visiting us we miss you! We are going to have to head over the the Dreams post to catch up. OMG did LeShay leave for her wedding yet? LeShay are you here? I have booked the steel drummer for our cocktail hour. Does anyone know if there are songs to pick from for steel drummers? Not that I would know what to pick Im sure whatever he plays will be nice. I really wanted and thought the mariachis would be nice but I couldnt stretch my budget without having to get rid of something else.
  8. Very cute and very reusable! How dare you making me want to go shopping.

They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn and I'm excited I paid a fraction of the price for them! Plus, I was looking for a low heel and most shoes that I found with a low heel were not the best looking- they are exactly what I was looking for! Here's a pic of them. you go sometimes the best things are found when you are least expecting it.
  10. For all you lovely brides to be who cant get enough of Stuart Weitzman or who have been eyeballing a pair! ENJOY! Valid in stores only (I know that makes is that much tougher) Stuart Weitzman Friends and Family.pdf
  11. OMG J everything looks breathtaking and you looked amazing. Im so happy to hear you had a wonderful time and were happy on your day. The flowers were very gorgeous. I cant wait for your full review and more pictures =) Where did you end up going for the honeymoon? Your advice certainly put me at ease Im going into panic mode I have a million and one things to do and no time to do them in.
  12. Everything looks so great!!! I love your starfish charms on everything so cute. Cant wait to see pics of the big day.
  13. Whoa you guys have been busy today Welcome to all the new Paradisus brides so excited for you all. We are all more than happy to help. And congrats on the DJ front!! Great for you, certainly stuck through it and it payed out in the end. Hope the rest of you get a great deal as well with either Mannia or Swank backing off on their rates. I guess Perla wasnt kidding when she said she would be busy with upcoming weddings. Im still waiting on the detail sheet she had said she would sent out asap 3 weeks ago. I guess I have to send a little reminder I want to see that as soon as possible.
  14. #1 and #2 are my faves....I think im pulling for #1 though gorgeous shows off your curves. I love #2 (love lace) but something about the flower in the front hides your nice waisteline.
  15. I think everybody reacts differently to the laser treatments. Ive been doing it for 3 years and still have to shave not as often and there minimal hair left. I can honestly say Im completely happy with the results of my treatments. I was not expecting any miracles when I started and was so disgusted with being a slave to hair removal I figured what could it hurt. I think a lot of people go into it expecting hair to just disappear and facilities dont educate potential clients on the fact that hair growth after x amount of treatments is a possibility. Just my two cents.
  16. Its true about the pigmentation. I get laser done and there have been times that they would not do laser on me when I had a tan. I know it sucks but think of it this way the place was honest with you and cared about your safety. If they did it you may have left with permant scarring and discoloration which is definately not what you want Im sure. You should do some research I have heard that some lasers work with darker pigmentation. See if you can find more information about it and go speak with someone to see if this can/cannot work for you. GL
  17. Everything looks great! Your OOT bags are so cute and so many fun goodies to go inside. Have a wonderful time cant wait to see everything pulled together in those pics upon your return.
  18. Everything looks so yummy. They evend did the centerpieces you had origianlly wanted so sweet of them.

Perla told me it was $30 per table for the overlays - WTF? Oh just in case since I never specified my spreadsheet was created using your outline Melissa and I referred back to all the pricing based on emails between Perla and myself. She never sent me this document as of yet. I know 2009 brides are getting higher price quotes on things etc. Yes she did send me all the chair options with the rental charges. I will try to post now bear with me. I also saw the linen book during my sit visit as to the various options they have so if anyone is going make sure to request to see that book. She didnt really send me any photos on linens but only told me prices, any color other than white for linens is $15, overlays $30, etc. I agree with your WTF comment on that one. ok posting chairs and rental fees now.

She seemed really shocked and asked me where I got this form to use! I will check in when I return. Have a wonderful trip J and feel better soon, Im sure the warmth will wipe it all away. Too funny about Elisa's reaction to the detail sheet. Maybe now they understand we all talk and compare quotes and ideas etc so they need to stick to the same budget list!!! I didnt even realize they came directly from the hotel I made up my own form based off of it (looks almost the same) with my crazy formulas (all I do is update the number of guests as they book at the top so it recalculates the total you may have to change some other hard key numbers as they pertain to your guest count/package). Im attaching it now if anyone is interested. Quote: Originally Posted by kimkeathley I thought I would tell you all this now, so if I reference it later, you won't be like, "huh?" ... My Mom passed away last April, and Jonathan (my FI)'s dad passed away just three weeks before that. (We just had his 1 year anniv.) With that being said, that is the main reason why we decided to have a destination wedding! We are so excited to be getting married in Mexico, on the beach! I am telling y'all this now because I read a post about favors...we are doing in-room guest bags (which the hotel charges $3-$4/ room to deliver) so, like someone else said, no need to give our guests anything else to lug around...however, in lieu of "favors" we are making donations to The American Heart Association and The Lupus Foundation, in our parents names. I am also trying to think of other ways to honor our parents... so far, I have had a panel with their names sewn in blue made to put inside my dress, and will be carrying a locket around the base of my boquet, with a picture of both of them. I would like to do something to honor them during the ceremony... I read somewhere about placing or throwing roses out to sea, and then a moment of silence... any suggestions? Wow... who knew that I would open up to a group of girls (practically strangers!!) so quickly... I guess knowing that we're all going through the same thing (planning a wedding in Mexico!!) together helps... Happy Tuesday, girls!! Kim Welcome Kim. So glad to have another PD bride with us. Your story is very touching and its so nice that you want to honor both of them during. I agree with everyone and think putting a rose in the chair will be a wonderful honor. You can also put photos of them on a table with candles to have them as part of the reception as well as the ceremony. Santiago.Donado_Budget_.xls
